The SmallRig (5227) V-Mount Battery Mount Plate Kit adds V-Mount battery compatibility* and multiple 1/4”-20 threaded attachment points to the Nikon ZR cinema camera, providing a compact, lightweight, all-in-one power supply solution for filmmakers.

The V-Mount Battery Mount Plate attaches to the ZR via an Arca Swiss-style quick release mechanism, and the base of the Mount Plate Kit is also Arca-compatible, enabling direct slide-in attachment of compatible cages and L-shaped handles.

USB-C and D-Tap power output enable simultaneous power supply to multiple devices without interfering with camera or top handle operation. The USB-C port supports the 65W PD standard, allowing an attached V-mount battery to be charged via an external power source. The LCD screen protector (screen holder) features tool-free height and width adjustment, while securing the screen in place.

The V-Mount Battery Plate features a 180° rotatable design: 0° for compact storage, 90° for low-profile camera mounting, and 180° for easy LCD screen access. Its stainless-steel gear-lock mechanism ensures a secure hold for wobble-free footage, while the battery release button features a trigger safety lever to prevent accidental disengagement.

The kit also includes cable clips and an elastic Velcro strap for cable management, plus multiple cable clip mounting holes for customized cable routing.
