FRONT

  • Front Dial

  • Lens Mount (Z)

    Connect an external microphone for higher-quality audio capture. The ZR mic input supports 32-bit float recording when using 3rd party external microphones.
  • Headphone Jack
    Monitor audio in real time to ensure clean sound during recording. By default, this enables both headphone and remote cord connector functionality. For enhanced headphone compatibility, disable the “auto switch” in the camera’s setup menu.
  • HDMI Output
    Send a clean video feed to external displays for additional monitoring.
  • USB-C Port
    Supports data transfer and can provide additional power to the ZR from external power sources such as a V-mount battery—ideal for longer shoots in the field.
