How to Un-Pair and Re-Pair Bluetooth on the KeyMission 360 and Your iPhone

Why might you want to un-pair and re-pair the KeyMission 360 from your iPhone® running the SnapBridge 360/170 app? If the initial pairing was unsuccessful, you will need to unpair the camera from the smartphone in order to attemp to re-pair it.
KeyMission 360: Un-Pair / Re-Pair the Bluetooth Connection to an iPhone

Step 1: Start at the connection screen in the SnapBridge 360/170 app. From here you will be touching the “>" next to the camera icon near the top of the screen.

Step 2: From the Connection options page tap the “End pairing” option.

Step 3: Confirm the end of pairing by selecting “Yes”.

Step 4: The next step is to follow the prompt now showing on the screen. Hit OK.

Step 5: Your phone screen now looks like this (below) showing the app as un-paired. Next you need to un-pair the iPhone®.

Step 6: Go to your phone’s Settings menu. Next, access the Bluetooth® menu.

Step 7: You will see the listing of devices your iPhone® has joined. From this screen, touch the ! in the circle, which is next to your KeyMission listing.

Step 8: You will be asked to confirm that you want to Forget the Device. Select Forget Device.

If you were successful, you will no longer see the KM available in the device listing.

Next quit out of the SnapBridge 360/170 app and open the app again. It is recommended that you restart the iPhone® by powering it all the way off and then on again but this is not always necessary.


Step 1: Launch the SnapBridge app.

Step 2: The next step requires that you turn your KeyMission 360 on in a very specific way. This will not work if your camera is currently powered on, so make sure you start with the camera turned off. You will need to press the video record button for about seven (7) seconds. The KeyMission 360 will power-up in paring mode. You will know that you are in paring mode when the lights on top of the KeyMission 360 alternately flash green.

Set your KeyMission 360 to the side and pick up your phone again.

Step 3: From the Connect screen, touch the ! in the circle.

Step 4: The next screen will automatically populate with your KeyMission camera. This might take a few seconds, so be patient. Select your camera once it appears in the list.

Step 5: The next thing you will see is this window. It too, might take a few moments to populate. Once you see the camera populate the new list, select it by tapping on the camera name.

You should then automatically be returned to the top Connection menu page showing the successful pairing.

NOTE: Pairing the KeyMission 360 camera and the iPhone® is done solely from the SnapBridge 360/170 app. Pairing cannot be done via the phone’s Bluetooth® connection menu. If you make that mistake, follow the above steps, making sure that the app is restarted once the Forget Device option is completed.

(These instructions are only for iPhones. Android™ smartphones can simply connect to the camera using NFC.)
