The Yellow Program is a worry-free Pilot Program for Z 5 camera consumer purchasers that allows you to experience first-hand the awesome potential of this compact Full frame mirrorless system for 30 days from the day you receive it. If you wish to return your Z 5 camera, simply return it in like-new condition and you will receive a free return shipping label to return the camera and a refund of your purchase price.

The Yellow Program is limited to one (1) Z 5 purchase per household or shipping address.

No. Only Z 5 cameras/kits are included in the Yellow Program, however, an FTZ Mount Adapter purchased along with your Z 5 camera/kit will be eligible for return with the camera/kit. Please see the following question.

If you choose to purchase an FTZ Mount Adapter at the same time as you purchase your Z 5 camera/kit, the FTZ Mount Adapter will be eligible for return along with your Z 5 camera/kit under the Yellow program guidelines.

At this time the Yellow Program is only available through the Nikon Store at nikonusa.com.

Yes, if you purchase from the Nikon Store on nikonusa.com, simply complete the Trade up to Z form and select a Nikon Z 5 camera/kit as your choice of camera to purchase – by doing so you will automatically be eligible for the Yellow Program.

Yes, if you pay by credit card, you will pay the full cost of the Z 5 camera option you selected. If you choose PayPal payment on time, you will need to make installments based on PayPal financing terms. If you wish to return the Z 5 camera within 30 days, we will refund to the original payment method used, the purchase price of the camera after the return is processed. Shipping fees, if any, will not be refunded.

The Nikon Store does not offer installments. However we do offer PayPal as an option at checkout. PayPal does have an offering that allows no interest if paid in full in 6 months on purchases of $99.00 or more. See terms.

No, in order to protect your shipment Nikon requires you to sign for your package at delivery.

To return your Z 5 please contact us at 1-800-645-6687. Our experts are available and ready to assist Monday–Friday 9AM-8PM EST.

After we receive and inspect your Z 5 camera, we’ll issue a refund to the payment method you used to buy your new Z 5 camera/kit. You must return the camera/kit in like-new condition, along with all supplied items. Nikon will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Once received we estimate that refunds should be issued within 5-7 business days. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.

The Yellow Pilot Program is currently only available to US residents and the camera must be shipped to a valid US address. We cannot accept APO/FPO or PO Boxes for a shipping address.

Yes, if you live in an eligible delivery area, Nikon will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label as a part of the return process.

If you did not receive your prepaid return shipping label please check your spam/junk mail folder. If you have more than one email address please make sure you check emails for the address that you used at checkout. If you are still unable to find the prepaid return shipping label please contact our customer service department. They are available Monday–Friday 9AM-8PM EST.

Terms and Conditions of Yellow Program: Nikon Store consumer customers that purchase and take delivery of a new Nikon Z 5 camera body/kit during the period beginning on October 8, 2020 and ending on November 30, 2020 may return the Z 5 camera body/kit within thirty (30) days after delivery for a full refund of their actual purchase price, subject to these Terms and Conditions of Yellow Program. Returned Z 5 camera bodies/kits (including all items included in the kit) to be eligible for refund must be in the original condition as received by the consumer customer, except for use outlined in the product manual for the specific product, be in its original factory packaging and include all the supplied components that were packed with the products by Nikon, including without limitation, lens(es), cable(s), manuals, batteries, battery charger and software, if applicable. Shipping fees for delivery of the Z 5 camera body/kit to the consumer customer, if any, will not be refunded. Upon request by the consumer customer, by calling our customer service line at 1-800-645-6687 9AM-8PM ET Monday to Friday, Nikon will provide a prepaid return shipping label for the return of the Z 5 camera body/kit to Nikon. To be eligible for return and refund, the Z 5 camera body/kit (and any accompanying items) must be received and checked in at the UPS shipping facility within thirty (30) days of the consumer customer’s receipt of the Z 5 camera body/kit (and any accompanying items). This Program is limited to one (1) Z 5 camera body/kit per household or shipping address; multiple Z 5 camera bodies/kits will not be eligible for return or refund from the same household or shipping address under this Yellow Program. Refund will be issued in approximately seven (7) business days after Nikon’s receipt and inspection of the returned Z 5 camera body/kit (and any accompanying items) to the original payment method used, for example, the payment credit card. This Program may be combined with Nikon Instant Savings and “Trade Up to Z” offers in effect at the time of purchase of the Z 5 camera body/kit by the consumer purchaser, however, it may not be combined with any other Nikon offer unless expressly authorized in the terms and conditions for that offer. One (1) FTZ Mount Adapter purchased at the same time and in the same order with the returned Z 5 camera body/kit will be eligible for return along with the returned Z 5 camera body/kit if received by Nikon together with the returned Z 5 camera body/kit and is otherwise subject to these Terms and Conditions of Yellow Program as if it was a returned Z 5 camera body/kit. To ensure receiving a correct prepaid return shipping label, please mention to the customer service agent that you are also returning an FTZ Mount Adapter when requesting a prepaid return shipping label. All Nikon Store purchases are further subject to the Nikon Store Terms and Conditions of Sale. In the event of a conflict, these Terms and Conditions of Yellow Program will prevail. There is no responsibility whatsoever on the part of Nikon for any images stored in a returned camera memory or memory card left in a returned camera. Nikon reserves the right to cancel this Yellow Program at any time with respect to Z 5 camera bodies/kits not yet ordered by the consumer customer.
