We’ll accept any camera in working condition—DSLR, SLR, Mirrorless Camera, point and shoot, action, film or other for trade-in. It just has to be working.

You may trade-in one working camera for each eligible D780 camera purchased. Multiple trade-ins cannot be applied to a single D780 camera purchase.

There is no “blue book” for used cameras. However, we endeavor to determine fair trade-in values based on the used camera market. Participating Nikon Authorized Dealers will determine their trade-in value at their sole discretion.

No! We“ll ship your new Nikon D780 camera with Free Two Day Shipping, and you won“t be sending your trade-in camera until you receive your new Nikon D780 camera.

Great! First, visit nikonusa.com for your trade-in quote. Then, buy a new D780 camera from the Nikon Store with Free Two Day Shipping by March 29, 2020. After you receive your Nikon D780 camera, ship your trade-in camera to Nikon using the prepaid UPS shipping label provided with your quote.

We will endeavor to send you a quote within 1-2 business days after you submit your information for a quote.

If after inspection Nikon sends you a revised quote with a trade-in value that is less than the amount shown on your original quote, you may within 2 business days after receiving the revised quote return the D780 camera for a full refund. After we have received the returned D780 camera, we will return your trade-in camera.

After we receive and inspect your trade-in, we’ll issue a refund to the payment method you used to buy your new D780 camera. If your trade-in is not in the condition you listed, we will send a revised quote. If your camera is not working, it will not be eligible for any trade-in value and we will send you a revised quote saying there is no trade-in value. You may then return your D780 camera within 2 business days to receive a refund for this camera and we will return your trade-in camera.

We estimate that refunds should be issued within 5 business days. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.

The Nikon Store does not offer installments. However we do offer PayPal as an option at checkout. PayPal does have an offering that allows no interest if paid in full in 6 months on purchases of $99.00 or more. See terms

The Trade-In Bonus is $300 toward a new Nikon D780 camera.

The D780 camera must be shipped to a valid US address. We cannot accept APO/FPO or PO Boxes for a shipping address.

Yes. Your product must have shipped to Nikon within 2 weeks of purchase of your new D780 in order to maintain the originally quoted trade-in value.
