Overall Responsibility
Support the successful functioning of the Nikon Inc. Service Administration section of the Nikon Service Department as it relates to the SAP reporting functions and create analytical reports for service and refurbishing operations. Create reports for forecasting future needs. Keep Sr. National Service Manager apprised of ongoing activity and projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Generate analytical reports on all aspects of service and refurbishing operations utilizing SAP, Excel, and Access. These include, but are not limited to, turnaround time, redo rates, lead-time, inventory turnover, as well as productivity, recovery rates and forecasting
  • Create ad-hoc, daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and dashboard with key performance indicator reports for service operations
  • Create ad-hoc, daily, weekly, monthly, and annual dashboard with key performance indicator reports for refurbishing operations
  • Work with Nikon IT to ensure the successful performance of all SAP processes in Service Order processing and documentation
  • Assist in testing SAP upgrades and reporting and communicate suggested enhancements
  • Work with service staff and IT Dept. to help troubleshoot SAP problems and errors
  • Assist foreign subsidiaries with SAP processing and training, and analytical reporting
  • Work with subcontractors to ensure receipt of data in a timely and accurate manner
  • Travel overnight in order to fulfill essential functions and key responsibilities
  • Work outside of normal hours of operation, as needed, in order to fulfill essential functions and responsibilities

Ancillary responsibilities:

  • All other duties as required or needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access (familiarity with Tableau a plus)
  • Excellent Knowledge of SAP and SAP reporting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent mathematical background and quantitative skills & strong presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 5% (includes overnight travel)
  • 4+ years SAP or similar experience (Service/Repair environment preferred)
  • BA/BS with technical or mathematical concentration preferred

Compensation depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to; knowledge, skills, experience, education and location. The range for this position is $28- $43 at an hourly rate.
