Pro photographer and blogger Laurel McConnell posted her review of the NIKKOR 35mm f/1.4 lens on McConnellPhoto.com. McConnell fell in love with this classic lens, touting such features as its being "wide without being too wide," the autofocus is speedy fast, and the color is brilliant. She also noted the lens offers great bokeh at wide apertures; and the close focusing distance lets you get "uber close portraits and wide-angled details." McConnell said, "It's sharp, fast, sees in the dark, is compact, color is great, and is perfectly wide for on-the-go shooting." She added, "If you're looking to splurge on one lens, Nikon makes GREAT glass and anything in their pro line will treat you right, so give this one a thought."
