If its just for the odd picture here and there you would be better off renting a wide angle. Even if such things were available for your lens putting something like that on the front is not going to give the best results.

But I would not like to buy another lens just for one purpose as I need to take pictures of some company's interior. So the converter would be best option for me.

Yes, you can use the Viewfinder with the WC-E75A Wide-angle converter attached to the lens.
