Key Features

MB-D200 Multi Power Battery Pack.
Provides AF-On Button, vertical firing release with lock and front and rear command dials.
Requires one or two EN-EL3e or six AA batteries, not included.
Supplied with MS-D200 AA Battery Holder.
It runs on either AA batteries or two EN-EL3e Li-ion batteries.
The MB-D200 has an extra main and sub command dial and alternative buttons for shutter release and AF start, making vertical shooting more comfortable.
The MB-D200 Multi-Power Battery Pack is designed to provide extended shooting capability.

deception ... January 11, 2013
D200 Battery Compartment The white plastic tabs that hold the batteries in place broke not long after I bought the unit. Now the door latch keeps allowing the door to pop open and the batteries to fall out, making tape necessary to hold the door close. Not very well designed for the rugged use that these cameras receive. September 17, 2012

Answer:
No it is for the D200. There is no offical grip for the D70 so you would have to look at third party options.

How to remove grip from camera if the wheel wont turn or turns with great difficulty and still cannot remove?

I might have tightened the grip to much and therefore it took wearing rubber glove for traction to get the wheel turning. Now the grip is loose on the camera yet the wheel is again near impossible to turn. I have stopped in fear of more damage. MY next attempt might be to take the small philips screws off at the bottom to disassemble the grip form the bottom up in hopes it exposes the screw mount.

Thanks for any suggestions.
