COOLPIX L14 4 5 1 1
Great bang /buck I've had bad experience with reliability on my first couple fuji products. I had one L14 stolen and that and the second one have always worked perfectly. The video mode works particularly good. Great focus tracking for professional looking videos with ease. The main gripes are 1) As with most cameras It would be nice if 1.2V batteries were *supported*..ie. you could tell it, or it would detect that you are using them. In that way the threshhold could be set a little lower on the low battery sensor I think and they'd have much longer life. 2) The SPECS for AUDIO are hard to find. It has been a pain trying to figure how to get rid of aliasing because of the 8bit audio. Programs want to read it into 16 bit format and you get this horrible aliasing often..but if you play it direct on a player it sounds fine. I was puzzling over this as I wrote the review. maybe someone can let sound doctorin' know what's up with this. August 3, 2010
