awesome!(: This is my first DSLR camera, it is abselutely the best camera i have ever taken pictures. It has great focus. It requires 4 AA betteries, i'd reccomend you buy rechargeable batteries and keep them handy so you can always be able to take pictures when ever. December 21, 2010
Nice, easy to use, Lots of features This is the third digital camera I have owned over the past 6 years. I have to say by far it has been the easiest camera to setup and use. The feature selections make sense and are easy to find. The picture quality is very good and my battery life (Using Energizer Lithium batteries) just keeps going and going... Bottom line is I highly recommend this camera for the person who wants high quality pictures from an easy to use camera... December 20, 2010
amazing camera, a must have this camera is great. i am very into nature photography and it works perfectly. occasionally, it will have a problem focusing onw hat i want it too, but thats okay. Also, thye aren't any lenses made for this prodeuct yet. But it takes fantastic pictures, and is light weight and easy to carry around. i reccomend getting rechargeable batteries witht he camera, ebcaue is requres 4 AAs. The picutre of a flower is a picture i took with the camera, no editing done. December 18, 2010
Good One ! I have owned this camera for about 3 months and its AMAZING! by far the best camera i have ever owned. Its a great camera if you don't want to pay the outrageous price for a SLR. I have compared some photos from a SLR to this camera and they are very similar so if you really want a camera that isn't the price of a SLR the L110 would be the camera for you! December 18, 2010
It's so user friendly. I spent years shooting 35mm film. Both black & white and color, using SLR's. But over the years it had gotten so expensive on my limited budget, that it just wasn't fun anymore. I received this as an early Christmas present from my Wife, and the fun is back. It's very user friendly, and if you are unfamiliar with all the available features, it doesn't take long to figure it out. My favorite times to shoot are dusk, nighttime, and dawn, and there are seperate settings for these, Also for daytime and indoor shots, the various white balance settings make it so easy to get the lighting just right. I use this camera every day, and I would recommend it to anyone. Oh, and a note on batteries, it came with the first set, and I'm still using them after almost a month. I have always wanted a Nikon camera, and now that I own one, I am "Very satisfied" ! :) :) :) December 17, 2010
Great camera I have had and used this camera for a couple weeks now and have had nothing but great pics from it. December 17, 2010
Love it Bought this as a gift for ME for Christmas and I love it! Just came back from my vacation and the pictures are wonderful. Easy to use, light weight, the batteries lasted the entire vacation without having to recharge. December 13, 2010
Great details While I have only had the camera less than I week, I love it so far! I have taken practice pictures and find the pictures very crisp and clear. The sports setting is the only one I haven't actually used in a sports situation. Would definitely recommed this to a friend - comfortable to use, great value for the money. December 12, 2010
Great camera to own I love the CoolPix L110. I purchased this camera because I was going on a vacation with my parents and a brother to see the Grand Canyon. I have never been one to use a camera much, i had only owned a 35mm Cannon and it was very simple, zoom in zoom out and press a button. The coolPix L110 was very easy for me to use. It easily allows you to select the type of picture, i.e.(portrait, landscape, indoor/outdoor, sunlight/moonlight) and take a great picture (memory) that will last a lifetime. Anyone can pick up this camera and become a Pro. I was amazed at how easy it is to not only take great photos but terrific videos as well. The large LCD screen helps you to easily see what you want to photograph. I found in a lot of cases that the pictures turned out great even though I was uneasy about the picture due to the angle of sunlight or lack thereof. I would recommend this camera to anyone who is wanting an easy to use and fun to own camera. December 11, 2010
User friendly In search for a Kodak Easyshare z981 was impossible, so I got a Nikon Coolpix L110 instead. For my first Nikon EVER its very user friendly. It takes AmAzInG pictures! Only downfall I have, is that I prefer rechargeable battery pack vs. individual batteries. But given the quality of the camera batteries will have to do! :) December 10, 2010
G R E A T Nikon L110 + love for photography + (amateur) = GREAT. I got this camera nearly 3 weeks ago, & I was verrry impressed. It takes great pictures, great macro shots, great action shots, and does exceptionally well every time you use it! Con: It runs on Lithium Ion batteries. I'm kinda worried because I take hundreds of pics each day... You might have to change the batteries every month or less. I recommend buying rechargeable batteries. Con: It's a bit on the yellowish side under incandescent and fluorescent lighting... Pro: 720p video is goood quality. Not great, but good (: Pro: There's a D-Lighting option. Pro: Looks professional, feels professional. I'm just getting started on photography, so I just needed a camera to get started with. It's a great starter camera, will definitely recommend it. After all, it's a Nikon! December 7, 2010
My first "REAL" Camera This is my first camera upgrade. I was tossing around the idea between Fuji cause of it's price and Nikon coolpix L110 because it's a Nikon. I am very glad that I chose the later. I can't wait to go shoot the moon! December 5, 2010
Just got my camera today and I must say it is awesome! i have taken about 200 pics so far! Took my children to a lighted parade captured photos of the floats and children running to gather candy, great pics in motion and without flash(for lighted parade) So simple to use. The zoom is awesome. It is a little bulky but absolutely love it! December 4, 2010
Simply awesome. Amazing clarity and picture quality. Also the camera has got a nice look and at the same time is compact and handy. December 2, 2010
With 32GB Class 6 SD Card - This SLR is Awesome!! Just purchased an old house and using the camera and the future features will make cataloging and sharing my experience online a simple matter. Esp with the ability to take VIDEO for before and after shots. Thanks... Nikon for this affordable and beautiful camera. November 28, 2010
Best camera i've owned. 5*s once again from Nikon. Amazing products. Zoom is just awesome, crystal clear pictures, and the 3" screen is Huge!! best camera ive ever owned... Recommened 100%. Super simple set up and very easy pic upload. November 27, 2010
Great camera I love this camera it takes great photos and is as easy to operate as you wish. The added video ability is huge as it allows me to take photos and videos all with one camera. November 24, 2010
Superior Camera for the Price I have been shopping camera's for the past several months. The camera manager at Fry's introduced me to the L110 and it was the best I had seen so far. I needed the Macro ability that would show close-up, crisp details of coins as I am a collector. It was by far the best camera for my needs. Thanks to Nikon and the CoolPix L110! Ken November 19, 2010
I bought this camera because of all of its features, and they are everything that I thought them to be. I have the red one, it gets praise everytime I pull it out, makes me feel so proud. November 18, 2010
Its a great camera I absolutely loved this camera it takes such amazing pictures and it works with me lol. I mainly take pictures of nature plants, animals, flowers and such. November 17, 2010

Great camera...fabulous zoom Used my camera on a trip to the New England in the fall...captured the colors beautifully. Also, used it to take pictures of offshore lighthouses...zoom worked great! Easy to use...especially for those of us who are not great SLR users. November 3, 2010
great features with 4 kids in sports, the sports continous is handy, since getting my camera my sisters and daughter-in-law have also gotten one we all love it October 13, 2010
This camera is awesome!!!! I bought the l110 camera to replace my old one, I was surprised how nice it was. And for the price, I was able to buy a carrying case, and tripod. Takes awesome pics, far and close. September 20, 2010
Great Photos I have owned this camera for about 3 months and its AMAZING! by far the best camera i have ever owned. Its a great camera if you don't want to pay the outrageous price for a SLR. I recently went to Cozumel,Mexico and the camera performed great! I have compared some photos from a SLR to this camera and they are very similar so if you really want a camera that isn't the price of a SLR the L110 would be the camera for you! September 11, 2010
I am loving this little point and shoot!!! This little camera has been more than worth its weight in gold. It has and does give me beautiful, quality photos, and with the RAW capacity, the sky is just about the limit. I have taken it on wonderful shoots and it has only let me down once, and even then, I was still able to show my work. It has a problem with extreme cold, like -28 degrees that came in the form of wind chill. So did I for that matter. But the shots entered before and after were perfect. I even submitted some to Nat. Geo.. My only wish for it would be a eye piece view finder. Due to illness, I do find it hard to keep steady, as it weighs next to nothing, and if I could use my face to stabilize it, I would never worry again. It has been a true joy to use. September 7, 2010
Great Camera! Of course it is no D90...but still an excellent camera! Ready to use out of the box! Great for the person who wants to buy a great camera and not to break the bank!! Im from Bethlehem, PA..and I enjoy taking pictures of the Old Bethlehem Steel stacks, and this camera takes great pictures of them!! Even from a distance!! September 5, 2010
Nice and light The nice and light feature is great what I also like is the zoom. It feels like a pro camera but able to travel in purse if necessary. Wish I had this for a concert I had gone to would have gotton some good close up, will try it on the next one I go to. Way to go Nikon. August 26, 2010
Camera is great. It takes very sharp photographs. The lens lets in so much light. Very user friendly. August 23, 2010

I just purchased this camera and out of the box most of my photos are blurry and the auto focus fails to take clear pictures. When photographing my children, if they move ever so slightly I get an awful photo. Are there any settings that I can change to fix these problems? My wife and I are becoming very frustrated since we spent quite a bit of money on this camera...please help!

Also, the sports continous mode, I've found, though not high quality photos, will usually take pretty good ones. If you click quickly, it will only take one picture so you won't end up cogging up your camera with duplicates.

Answer:
The COOLPIX L110 is designed to be easy and automatic to use, so there is no actual Manual Mode, however for more selectable control options, start in Auto Mode, then press Menu. This will show all the adjustable categories.

i thought this camera was suppose to be fast thats what sold me on this camera. Mine has been very slow at taking pictures i dont know if i have it on the wrong settings but everytime i take a picture with my friends they move because they thought i took the picture but it didn't. Also when i do finally take a picture it takes a little bit to show up, its as if its delayed. I don't know if it's just me or is my camera messed up?

Answer:
I have the same exact issue with my camera. As much as I absolutely love Nikon and this camera, at times I have to shut it off and restart it in order to get pics. At other times the button won't even work and I can't take a pic at all (unless I shut it off again). I also see the big delay as well at times, mostly when the lighting isn't that great or flash is on. Again, I love the camera, but big problems with it in that respect....and many of my family members have the same camera because I referred them to it and each one of them has the same problem at times! I'm a bit dissapointed since I use mine to take pictures for other people.

if you get the blue screen on your pc, it's very possible your USB port is malfunctioning. try using another USB slot, if it still happens, there's a good chance you'll have to have your motherboard replaced (in your pc, that is).

I just got my camera in December, and I recently have just started getting problems with it. Whenever I turn it on, a white screen will pop up saying "Battery Exhausted!" I've tried putting many new batteries, I've made sure that the batteries were in the right way, but nothing will work. I'm frustrated and I just want it fixed so I don't have to get a new one :(

Answer:
If it is not an internal error that you have to get fixed, make sure that you have the right battery type in (Alkaline, COOLPIX (Ni-MH), Lithium) and choose which one you have in: Menu-Settings-Battery type. this may not actually be your batteries exhausted just a misread because you have the wrong type selected. I had the same problem with mine until I changed the type to the correct one. Hope this helps!

Answer:
As far as your zooming problem goes, I don't know what that could be from. Your best bet is to contact Nikon Support. Your flash problem may be simple, sometimes the flash on the L110 can kind of be painfully slow to load up. This is because it has to charge, if this is the problem it is as simple as waiting a bit before you can take pics with the flash. If not, contact Nikon Support. Hope this helps!
