Fantastic Point-And-Shoot I purchased this to take places that I don't dare take my dSLR, and as a superb backup to the places I do take the dSLR. Although, by design, it doesn't equal my D5100 by any means, it is a top-notch camera. The durability can't be beat as long as you take basic care of it by blowing off dust and drying it if it gets wet. The pictures are crystal clear and the camera is amazingly easy to use. I take it everywhere and have never been disappointed. March 12, 2012
Pretty Great, Great Price, Great Features I purchased the red l110 in march and it takes brilliant photos and has some great features. Its rapid shot is good, it has a best shot selector, self timer and smile detection called smart photo. It has amazing close up abilities and I highly recommend it to anyone who is not up for a super expensive DSLR but still wants amazing zoom and high quality. You have to buy rechargeable batteries seperately and it is slightly bulky. But its amazing! July 23, 2010
MY BACKUP CAMERA This camera was my primary digital camera until I bought a Nikon SLR. I've had it since it was released and have had no problems. Photo quality is excellent as well as ease in taking quality photos. The "AA" batteries is one of the prime reasons for purchase and hasn't let me down. Still using this one as a backup when I don't want to take my SLR into situations that could a hazard. This gem keeps on ticking. Still turns alot of heads because of the red color. February 9, 2013
Maximum flexibility from a point and shoot My baby, lol. I've shot everything from the hair on a bee's back to moon shots with this one. Weddings and portraits. Set it for high resolution images and they come out crystal clear and perfect for enlarging. I love the software which comes with it as well. This camera has both taught me a whole lot about photography and produced some incredible and marketable images. You can't change lenses with this one, but the built in capabilities are worth at least 3 different lenses on a dslr. Didn't have permission to share portraits, but added photos for anyone to see. GREAT camera! November 24, 2012
I love this camera! One of the best purchases I have made. Photos are stunning and the camera is so durable! I took this with me while I was camping in Kenya for 6 weeks, where we got both dust storms, and a flood. And yet I came home with stunning photos and a still functioning camera! November 10, 2012

I just purchased this camera and out of the box most of my photos are blurry and the auto focus fails to take clear pictures. When photographing my children, if they move ever so slightly I get an awful photo. Are there any settings that I can change to fix these problems? My wife and I are becoming very frustrated since we spent quite a bit of money on this camera...please help!

Answer:
Also, the sports continous mode, I've found, though not high quality photos, will usually take pretty good ones. If you click quickly, it will only take one picture so you won't end up cogging up your camera with duplicates.

Answer:
The COOLPIX L110 is designed to be easy and automatic to use, so there is no actual Manual Mode, however for more selectable control options, start in Auto Mode, then press Menu. This will show all the adjustable categories.

i thought this camera was suppose to be fast thats what sold me on this camera. Mine has been very slow at taking pictures i dont know if i have it on the wrong settings but everytime i take a picture with my friends they move because they thought i took the picture but it didn't. Also when i do finally take a picture it takes a little bit to show up, its as if its delayed. I don't know if it's just me or is my camera messed up?

Answer:
I have the same exact issue with my camera. As much as I absolutely love Nikon and this camera, at times I have to shut it off and restart it in order to get pics. At other times the button won't even work and I can't take a pic at all (unless I shut it off again). I also see the big delay as well at times, mostly when the lighting isn't that great or flash is on. Again, I love the camera, but big problems with it in that respect....and many of my family members have the same camera because I referred them to it and each one of them has the same problem at times! I'm a bit dissapointed since I use mine to take pictures for other people.

Answer:
if you get the blue screen on your pc, it's very possible your USB port is malfunctioning. try using another USB slot, if it still happens, there's a good chance you'll have to have your motherboard replaced (in your pc, that is).

Simple as that is there one?
Main problem with this camera is it's ability to blur every shot no matter how still the tripod so it has to be me pressing the shutter button.

When I take pictures (using flash when needed) the pictures on the camera look great! But when I load them onto my computer the pictures are extremely dark (I have tried using both the Nikon software as well as iPhoto- the results are the same). How do I fix this problem? I am tired of using my iPhoto software to brighten the pics, the quality of the pictures is seriously ruined. The picture I am attaching was taken with the flash- and when I preview it on my camera it looks GREAT. But this is how my pics look after I upload them.

Answer:
One option I have used the video option to capture some lighting. It does require using an editing software to capture a frame or 2. It does take more time but I have gotten a few nice shots. One of the shots I took when in Seattle in July 2012.
