Excellente camera...great pictures... Very easy to use, great color and pictures were awesome..... February 23, 2011
Great All Around I love my new camera. I havent put it down since we bought it. I took it to a car show and I was able to record video and take amazing pictures. I would recommend this high quality product. Its a great value for the buck! February 19, 2011
Great Product!! I have told everyone about it!! I would have to say this is the best money i have every spent on a camera!! The pictures are perfect quality once you get the settings the way you want them! I was taking shots of my television while watching a movie and it came out as if i was in the movie! I have had many other cameras but never one that would do what this camera will do! If you are in the market for a great quality camera at a good price then this would be your best bet! I searched alot of stores and compared alot of cameras but everything and the sales associates kept me going back to the Nikon COOLPIX L110!! So go buy it! You will love it just as much as I do!!! February 14, 2011
This is my second Nikon I use to own the Coolpix L100 and loved it. I never had any problems with it or the pictures I was able to take with it. I looked for another Nikon that was compatable to the one I had and decided on the L110. So far I love it. Easy to use and setup. I'm in the Nikon family for life with these camera's. February 11, 2011
Great I just got my COOLPIX L110 . I haven't taken to many pics yet but I can tell you I allready love it. I have arthritus in my hands and the grip feature is great for me, since I have a hard time holding things. I have another film Nikon and love it too. I will add more after I use it more. February 7, 2011
Great mid price range camera. I have never written a review but I spent so much time researching a camera in this price range. I was looking for a good zoom and a camera that would take pictures quickly. Also I am not real technology advanced so I was pleased that the settings were easy to find and understand. I am so happy with my choice and think you would be also. February 2, 2011
L110 IS COOL...... THISE CAMERA GIVE ME GREAT EXPERIENCE IN PHOTOGRAPHY. I REALLY LOVE IT. February 2, 2011
I've only had this camera for a couple months, but so far I've had a great experience! Zoom and battery life are both amazing. My only complaint is that the camera itself is a bit bulky for everyday use. I was hesitant about buying this camera since I recently switched over from a regular Canon point and shoot. However, if you are less experienced but have a passion for photography, I would highly recommend it! January 31, 2011
Such a great camera! This camera is fantastic. I have always gotten great quality cameras with Nikon. The L110 is by far my favorite! January 23, 2011
Simple, inexpensive, and produces great quality. I bought this model camera as an upgrade to a Samsung digital camera, and the difference is incredible. For a $200 + purchase, depending on what accessories you get with it, you will never find better quality in that amount of money. The zoom, along with the action shot setting, make it ideal for nature photography. Also, the close-up photos give you the crisp detail of most higher price cameras. I am an amateur photographer, and I do most of my shots just for the enjoyment of capturing "Life" which is I believe what Nikon was aiming for in this model. I have photographed everything from nature, to community events, to photos of children for my friends. The L110 does do good portraits too, but probably do not provide you with the detail wanted by a commercial photographer. It IS more than enough for someone not trained as a professional photographer. My camera has been used in all weather situations, and has stood up to heat, rain, and snow since I purchased it last spring. Overall it is one of the best buys on a camera you could ask for. I have attached some of my amateur photos. January 21, 2011
Outstanding Pictures. I bought the Nikon L110 on Black Friday 2010 and its amazing. It takes amazing close-ups and rapid shot. I do wish there were more focusing options and possibly a timelaps option but its an amazing deal. I would say if you get a chance to buy it. Do it. It's worth the money. January 15, 2011
Perfect for Grandma This digital camera acts like a Nikon N80 SLR, the features and options are easy to learn. The camera is quick to take a picture and switching to video is at a Thumb-tip...seriously, It's great. January 8, 2011
amazing! My boyfriend got me this camera for Christmas and I love it. This is Definitely what I was looking for in a camera. The quality is great, and Its very simple to use. January 8, 2011
Amazing photos affordable camera After using a few different types of film cameras, limited use of 35mm, an early digital camera and a fairly new camcorder I was shocked by the quaity of my new Nikon L110. You can shoot (what I consider) profesional quality photos right out of the box. The controls are simple to learn, although there are enough options to keep more advanced shutterbugs playing with settings for years. The L110 is one of the most affordable of all the advanced compact cameras so you have money left over for memory cards, a bag and extra batteries. The only other accessory you may ever need is a tripod!! The best part is I don't feel the need to correct color or manipulate the photo on the computer, other than croping to fit the application. I have never been so happy with a new purchase! Thanks Nikon! You just made taking fantastic photos as easy as point and shoot while delivering a camera that can automaticly adjust to whatever subject matter I happen to be photographing. You've saved me hours of frustration and possibly kept me from going bald - no more pulling my hair out trying to get the photo corrected just so!! When I'm ready to move up to a DSLR I know the first company I'll turn to for my equipment. January 6, 2011
Absolutely Amazing!!! I got this camera for Christmas and I can't believe how amazing it is! I took over 100 pictures with it on Christmas day and I couldnt believe how great the quality was! I am always making videos and taking pictures, so I am very picky with the type of camera I use. But I am so happy I chose this one! January 6, 2011
Read and learn After I took several pictures and had the zoom rather fuzzy (indoors) I took time to read the manual. I figured out what I was doing wrong and corrected the problem. I now love this camera! It takes great clear pictures. I usually am not a big picture taker but now that will change. This camera is very easy to use but you have to take a little time to read and learn. January 3, 2011
Excellent camera Everything about this camera is awesome except the batteries! They lasted for only a couple of weeks, and I've barely been able to use it! I will have to find stronger batteries for this camera... Other than that, the photos come out beautifully! Like other "HD movie" cameras, I didn't expect it to really produce HD movies...the quality is EXCELLENT! Great camera for beginners in photography and for a little video recording. When you watch the video, please watch it in 720p! It is beautiful! January 3, 2011
i have only owned this camera for a few days but love it already !!! easy to use and operate. definitly would reccomend it January 3, 2011
Awesome Camera My daughter purchased this camera for me for Christmas. I have had several of the smaller pocket sizes digital cameras before and really wanted a larger better camera. This one takes excellent pictures and amazing videos. I am highly impessed with it and would reccomend it to anyone looking for a camera. January 2, 2011
The Nikon L110 is an amazing camera!! I've been having a hard time putting it down!! December 31, 2010
Great camera nice feel, lots of options timing for taking pics is great you do not get a lot of those I just missed that as someone turns there head December 31, 2010
great camera for price okay, so i used to have a Nikon D100, which i spent nearly $1300 on, but unfortunetly it was stolen from me. i didnt think i'd end up buying another camera after that. but for christmas my girlfriend bought me this nikon L110 and i am amazed with the photographs taken by this camera. i know it has a fixed lens and no manual but she got it for $200 at pc richards and it just take very crisp photos. December 29, 2010
WOW This is my 3rd digital camera but my first Nikon. I'm impressed with my L110. It's light weight and once I read the manuel I haven't had a blurry picture. It's amazing what this camera can do. I've taken so many pictures that I'm on my second 4G SD card. By the way it was a Christmas gift from a husband who has a Nikon SLR and he has a lot of lens and can do a lot. I like mine better. December 29, 2010
Nikon L110 Is One Great Camera! The L110 is everything I'd hope it would be. For a camera with these high end features it is easy to use and pretty intuitive. December 27, 2010
I just got the Nikon COOLPIX L110 for christmas and I love it SOOO much, it take AMAZING pictures! :) December 25, 2010
This camera is great! It is very easy to follow and if you do not understand something it is right in the manual simple and easy to understand. It takes great pictures and has amazing quaility(: December 25, 2010
This camera is great for the advance and amatuer I've had my coolpix L110 for about a month. The menu mode gives you the option to choose many different modes of shooting. Focusing will take some practice and once you have learned to steady yourself and subject you will love it. The movie mode is great too. Lastly, invest in the rechargeable batteries w/ recharger, you will not be able to put the camera down. December 25, 2010
Great Pictures This camera take GREAT pictures. If you understand aperture and shutter speed this camera is great!! All the settings are wonderful and the quality is awesome! Merry Christmas! December 25, 2010
LOVE MY CAMERA!!!!! I got the Coolpix L110 for my birthday and I love the camera!!! It takes beautiful pictures and I'm glad I got it. December 24, 2010
BEAUTIFUL I love this camera! It's easy to use and takes awesome pictures. Some complain about the pictures being blurry but if you take your time, hold steady, aim and shoot, they come out just fine! I love the distance it will take and the way it takes beautiful pictures, even in the dark! December 24, 2010

I just purchased this camera and out of the box most of my photos are blurry and the auto focus fails to take clear pictures. When photographing my children, if they move ever so slightly I get an awful photo. Are there any settings that I can change to fix these problems? My wife and I are becoming very frustrated since we spent quite a bit of money on this camera...please help!

Also, the sports continous mode, I've found, though not high quality photos, will usually take pretty good ones. If you click quickly, it will only take one picture so you won't end up cogging up your camera with duplicates.

The COOLPIX L110 is designed to be easy and automatic to use, so there is no actual Manual Mode, however for more selectable control options, start in Auto Mode, then press Menu. This will show all the adjustable categories.

Mine has been very slow at taking pictures i dont know if i have it on the wrong settings but everytime i take a picture with my friends they move because they thought i took the picture but it didn't. Also when i do finally take a picture it takes a little bit to show up, its as if its delayed. I don't know if it's just me or is my camera messed up?

Answer:
I have the same exact issue with my camera. As much as I absolutely love Nikon and this camera, at times I have to shut it off and restart it in order to get pics. At other times the button won't even work and I can't take a pic at all (unless I shut it off again). I also see the big delay as well at times, mostly when the lighting isn't that great or flash is on. Again, I love the camera, but big problems with it in that respect....and many of my family members have the same camera because I referred them to it and each one of them has the same problem at times! I'm a bit dissapointed since I use mine to take pictures for other people.

if you get the blue screen on your pc, it's very possible your USB port is malfunctioning. try using another USB slot, if it still happens, there's a good chance you'll have to have your motherboard replaced (in your pc, that is).

I just got my camera in December, and I recently have just started getting problems with it. Whenever I turn it on, a white screen will pop up saying "Battery Exhausted!" I've tried putting many new batteries, I've made sure that the batteries were in the right way, but nothing will work. I'm frustrated and I just want it fixed so I don't have to get a new one :(

Answer:
If it is not an internal error that you have to get fixed, make sure that you have the right battery type in (Alkaline, COOLPIX (Ni-MH), Lithium) and choose which one you have in: Menu-Settings-Battery type. this may not actually be your batteries exhausted just a misread because you have the wrong type selected. I had the same problem with mine until I changed the type to the correct one. Hope this helps!

Answer:
As far as your zooming problem goes, I don't know what that could be from. Your best bet is to contact Nikon Support. Your flash problem may be simple, sometimes the flash on the L110 can kind of be painfully slow to load up. This is because it has to charge, if this is the problem it is as simple as waiting a bit before you can take pics with the flash. If not, contact Nikon Support. Hope this helps!
