Nikon COOLPIX cameras are so smart they know what kind of picture you're taking and can automatically select from six commonly used scene modes, eliminating the mode-setting procedure and streamlining the shooting process. If none of the six modes is appropriate, the camera switches to Auto mode. Of course, every COOLPIX camera is equipped with up to 18 scene modes that you can set manually to match your shooting conditions. Each mode optimizes the camera's settings to achieve the best exposure for specific conditions, enabling you to confidently capture great shots even in difficult circumstances.
