• Nikon Store Return Policy

     
     
    Subject to the exceptions, time periods and requirements set forth below in this Return Policy, the Nikon Store will accept for refund cameras, lenses, sport and recreational optics, and certain other products purchased at the Nikon Store (“Returnable Merchandise”), within 14 days of delivery if such merchandise is either (i) defective, or (ii) unused and unopened.
 
  • Exceptions to the Return Policy

    Books, instruction manuals, non-defective software CD ROMs, downloaded software, E-Courses, non-defective educational DVDs, logo items and apparel, and repair parts and tools are not eligible for return.

  • Return Requirements

    In order to be eligible for return and refund, Returnable Merchandise must be in the original packaging with all supplied components provided with the Returnable Merchandise (including but not limited to batteries, chargers, cables, software, manuals, warranty cards and/or hang tags), and must include a copy of the invoice/packing slip. Shipping and processing charges from the original order will not be refunded.

    All returns must be returned via the UPS shipping label provided by Nikon to the customer and accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, as further described in the “Shipping Instructions” below.
 
  • Return Period

    To return Returnable Merchandise for refund, customers must both (i) obtain a RMA number within 14 days of the date the order was delivered to the delivery address specified on the order (this date will be verified using the UPS tracking number), and (ii) return the Returnable Merchandise so that it is received by the Nikon Store within 14 days of the date the RMA number was issued. The Nikon Store will not accept any Returnable Merchandise for return after the return period has expired. After the return period has expired, please refer to any Limited Warranty that may be provided with the Returnable Merchandise.
 
  • Shipping Instructions

    For Returnable Merchandise under One Thousand Dollars ($1,000), customers may either log into their Nikon account or access their order by clicking here to obtain a RMA number and they will be emailed a pre-paid UPS shipping label to print and use. For Returnable Merchandise exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000), customers must call toll-free 1-800-NIKON-US (800-645-6687) to obtain a RMA number and for further instructions, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

    The customer is responsible for any Returnable Merchandise lost or damaged in transit to, and until it is received by, the Nikon Store.

    Any Returnable Merchandise received without a properly displayed RMA number, or that otherwise does not meet the requirements of this policy, are unauthorized returns and will be refused and returned to the sender of origin.
 
  • Timing of Refund

    The Nikon Store will issue a credit to the original payment method for properly returned Returnable Merchandise. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles after return of Returnable Merchandise for the credit to be processed and visible on the applicable payment statement.
