Awesome semi-pro camera!! I majored in Photojournalism years ago and learned on a Pentax K1000. I went into another field but wanted a Nikon back then. Recently, I picked up a used D300s with a lens and love it! It may take some time to get used to all of the bells and whistles, but the pictures are sharp. Great camera! May 20, 2014
Folder Contains No Images I just bought this in March 2014 and I am debating whether I should send it to Nikon for repair or return it to the store. This camera froze on me twice. After the first incident, Nikon Support taught me how to reset it. Few days later, I took it with me on vacation and it happened again. The reset technique did not work. It took more than one day for the camera to come back to normal operation. When it is operating normally, it is a great camera and I enjoy the speed of the camera. So, I am not sure if it is a camera problem or user problem. I own a D80 also and I have not encountered the same problem with D80. April 29, 2014
Excelente para todo tipo de trabalho Photográfico. Muito boa em relação custo beneficio, ótima portabilidade, excelente qualidade de imagem e fácil de operar. April 16, 2014
Love it... I have yet to have a Nikon I do not like but this is one of my favorites. It focuses fast. It has lots of sensitivity for low light and a quick shutter for bright days watching sports. Now that I have a D600 I should give it to my niece but cannot part with it. March 8, 2014
I love this gear I had this durable gear for almost 5 years now and never gave me any problem. Always ready for any occasions. And I'm excited to use my new nikon 24-70 mm 2.8. Hoping to make the most out of this camera. January 29, 2014

Shooting fast is important to us. Is there a better Class to look for? The retailer said to go with Class 10 or higher...Unfortunately the user manual is dated 2009 & Nikon's site for this camera has the exact info re memory cards. How about an update, Nikon? There are more SanDisk cards out since 2009, so we have no clue which to get & which to avoid. Tks!

Answer:
At 300dpi 9x14, 200ppi 14x21, 150ppi 18x26
Depends on the quality of the print you want. The average eye will not be able to notice the difference unless they are close to the print.
