Answer: 
The AN-D3 strap for the D3 measures approximately 50 inches long from end to end. The wide part of the strap is approximately 1-3/4 inches wide and the narrow part of the strap is approximately 7/8 inches wide.

I had Nikon d3000 send it out for repair they took my strap of return it with an old narrow strap I had wide your strap Nikon d3 how wide is it and will it fit mine

Answer: 
The AN-D3 strap is only used for the D3. This strap is not compatible with the D3000. The AN-DC3 is compatible with the D3000.
