Awesome accessory! Must have for the D7000 Easy to shot with, very versatile! Thanks for making this product. Makes vertical shooting a breeze. Easy to handle and Great construction. I also appreciate the way this grip is able to hold a extra battery for extended shots! I'd highly recommend this product. April 11, 2012
Excellent PROS: Buy it!!! Don´t go to a clone, all of them are rubbish CONS: There is enough space for another EN-EL5 battery March 11, 2012
sooo confortable!!! this is the best piece of equipment you can add to your D7000, it will make your camera feel so much better with more control and more professional look!!! i would recommend this product to everyone that buys a D7000 April 19, 2011
works amazing, basically doubles your battery life while also giving you the power to move your camera around easier and take easier vertical images, i love it and recommend it to everyone who is really into photography. April 12, 2011
Fits my D7000, my hand, my shooter style. I couldn't wait to get this battery grip. Even though I do not normally load it up with batteries for daily shooting, I enjoy the effortless flexibility of various grip-holds I need when shooting. Also, it seems to ad a Pro dimension to the camera body which I appreciate. March 10, 2011

A previous encounter with a similar unit was discouraging. It was attached with a large screw device that would not stay tight long enough to make me comfortable. This looks like the same connection from here. How is the MB-D11 attached to the D7000? Has this issue been addressed? Thank you.

Answer:
I use this grip regularly with my D7000 and have not had any slip issues. Overall the D7000 and grip are slightly smaller than my D300 and MB-D10, but make the handling similar. I use the grips because they help balance the cameras better when using large lenses such as the 70-200 f/2.8 G VRII and the 300 f/2.8.

I can't afford the price of the MB-D12 and EN-EL18 for my D800/e. I don't mind using the MB-D11 with EN-EL15 Batteries as a less expensive alternative if it is possible.

Answer:
Hi,

The answer is no.
There is always some degree of resistance but it is a good principle not to expose your camera and lens to water or dust.
Off course sometimes this is not possible but try to minimize it and if it happens clean it or dry it as soon as possible.
You can find in the market accessories to protect your camera and lens from weather and dust.

Best Regards

Luis

I mean not the Number of frames per second, just the number of continuosly shooted frames,
cause when shooting in JPG, it's possible to shoot like 24 frames continously,
but in RAW it's only possible to shoot 9 frames continuously

Answer:
Has nothing to do with the battery, the buffer is filling up. I don't know what sd card you are using but it sounds like it's not accepting the data fast enough for the buffer to clear. Try using a Lexar Professional UHS-1 or San Disk Extreme pro UHS-1.
