Great product!
I purchased this charger for my Nikon cool pix s4000 because I lost my original charger. This charger works great. The blinking lights tell you the level of power the battery has as its charging and the charger is really convenient!

The charger requires an additional cord instead having the capability of plugging directly into the outlet. Means there is just an additional piece to get lost. Don't think there are any other options, as the charger is specific to the battery and they use so many different batteries...

In order to charge the EN-EL19 you will need the Charging AC Adapter EH-69P.
is this charger compatible with the en-el12 battery for the copious s8200?

You can use the MH-65 battery charger or the EH-69P AC adapter/charger.
I have had the MH-63 battery charger for a few years now and it will no longer charge the battery. I have tried plugging it into multiple outlets, the orange light will blink one time, and then turn off completely. When I place my batter in it, the light will not come on.

I'm guessing it's the battery not the charger.Try a different battery.
