I understand the issue with the flooding in some of the factories, but is there a certain order of products to be assembled that you guys can estimate when this item in particular will be available? It's been backordered for a while, however I am willing to wait in regards to the flooding.
Thanks! Can't wait!

Several websites are listing this as a battery grip in the title. I haven't seen anywhere where it claims to be a battery grip, but one can hope and the price is steep for just a plastic grip.

Does the Gr-N1000 grip have a 1/4-20 threaded hole in the bottom?
If not, is the grip bottom made of solid aluminum so that I could drill and tap a hole?
Thanks.... Perry
