Excellent filter for Nikkor lenses I'm a nature photographer, and some times the colors change in the picture when an UV filter is used (flowers, the sky, etc)... Sometimes I want that doesn't happen, so I bought this filter. This is an excellent filter for genuine Nikon lenses. I'm happy with the purchase because it fits with my AF-S Nikkor 18-105mm DX lens. This Nikon filter is very clear and I haven't noticed any difference in overall picture quality. In addition, it's a very good protection for my lenses. Keep in mind that this filter is not UV. Answer:
You need a 67mm filter, it has threads on it and screws into the end of the lens. Be careful not to cross thread when screwing it on. The lens has the female threads and the filter has the male threads.
