Feel, Weight Balance Excellent feel with great balance and I feel in full control of the camera for any shot September 26, 2014
Great bridge camera. I originally owned to Nikon film cameras in the early 80's, Took really good photos on horseback in Wyoming, Colorado, and Big Bend NP. Had a lot of compliments on my slides. Last fall, I decided I wanted to get back into photography as a serious amateur, and bought a Nikon Coolpix L820 which was very good but wanted more manual control on photos. So in Mary 2014 bought a Nikon Coolpix P520 and gave the L820 to my wife. P520 is a GREAT camera, especially for the price. Have had great compliments on my photos. This camera can do so much, it's hard to believe that it is a bridge camera. Last week I bought a second P520 to use as a back up and to have each one programmed for different situations. These cameras will do so much more than my old Nikon film cameras that had about a half dozen lenses. I do wish that Nikon made a filter attachment capability and lens hood for these cameras. Surely there is a way. Otherwise it is a GREAT camera, and why I have ended up with two of that model. August 4, 2014
My Nikon Camera I am totally in love with my camera i take it everywhere June 4, 2014
Newbie The pictures I take and the rave reviews I get I feel a little guilty because it is the camera . I am learning and trying different settings . Absolutely fantastic . I have taken over 4000 pictures since December and I take the camera with me everywhere . Great all around May 5, 2014
LOVE THIS CAMERA!! I have always wanted a Nikon as far back as I can remember, and I finally got the chance to own one. I figured I would work my way up through the cameras. Starting with the COOLPIX P520, and it was a great decision!! I love this camera, it has amazing features, its very versatile, and the picture quality is great for its model! For a starter camera for me, I couldn't have asked for better! Thanks Nikon!! April 22, 2014

Answer:
Yes, the COOLPIX P520 has both Easy Panorama and Panorama Assist Modes.

With Easy Panorama, a single panoramic image is created by panning the camera horizontally or vertically either 180 or 360 degrees while pressing the shutter button. More information about the P520's Easy Panorama Mode can be found starting on page 3 of the reference section of the P520 manual.

With Panorama Assist, the camera displays a visual guide that enables the user to take multiple shots that are lined up properly. These multiple images can then be combined into a single panoramic image using the Panorama Maker software that is provided on the View NX2 CD-Rom that comes with the camera. More information on the P520's Panorama Assist Mode can be found starting on page 6 of the reference section of the P520 manual.

Answer:
After taking the first shot in normal shooting mode, the P520 will be ready in about one second to take the next shot. In continuous shooting mode, the P520 is capable of taking 7 shots in one second.
Also, be advice that using a memory card with a write speed slower than the file size of your image will cause the P520 or any other camera to slow down.

Answer:
The included EH-69p ac adapter charger is rated at 100-240 volts au to switching. If you have the charger with a cord get a new cord for the country you are in, it is a standard laptop power cord available at most electronic retailers, make sure it is the correct voltage. If you have the charger with the plug built in just get a plug adapter.

Answer:
If you have read the manual but the information is still over your head, then perhaps you should inrolled in a photograpy class. You will need to to start from the basics. Aperture , Shutter Speed and ISO. That is something every photographer should know or else you would be limited to using the camera only in Auto mode. Which is, to turn the Dial on top of the camera to the green camera Icon, hold the shutter button halfway down and the camera will make a beep sound when your subject is info, then push all the way down to take the picture.
Youtube is great source of information. Many photgrapher share there knowledge on there start from the basic to very advance technique.

With such a useful (1000 mm equivalent) lens, recording a voice 50 meters away using an internal microphone is obviously going to be impossible to record at all. Naturally, the labor requirement to slate and synchronize an external audio recording is going to be vastly greater than modifying the camera.

However, with a schematic perhaps an external stereo wireless receiver could be attached. Since this isn't a complicated question, perhaps you could mention the signal requirements, at the internal microphones, so I could consider the external audio source.

Naturally, I am not concerned about a warranty, which I have never made any use of before; particularly in this case when a separate telephoto lens and camera body with an audio jack would cost about 60 times more than this camera. With appreciation for any related technical information or associated references, and thank you for any consideration.

To select multiple pictures for deletion while in playback mode, press the delete button, then select 'Erase selected images'. Use the multi selector Left and Right to scroll through the images, and use the multi select UP to select an image. To select multiple thumbnails, use the Zoom switch located around the camera power button to show more or less images. See page 34 of the reference manual.

To selected multiple pictures for printing while in playback mode, press the menu button, select 'Print Order' then select 'multiple images. Use the multi selector Left and Right to scroll through and use Up to select the images.

The P520 reference manual is in the link below.
