Answer: 
The first answer is wrong! I contacted Nikon (UK), the correct answer is that the EN-MH1 has a min 2000mAh and the EN-MH2 has a min 2300mAh, meaning that the latter is the stronger and more powerful of the two. Some cameras require more power to operate, that is why the EN-MH2 is recommended and the EN-MH1 is not suitable. Always check the mAh rating of the battery before buying.

Answer: 
The EN-MH1 are just two batteries and the EN-MH2 are four batteries and a charger.

No, the Ni-Mh En-Mh1 batteries are not compatible with the COOLPIX L320. Our EN-MH2 rechargeable Ni-MH (nickel metal hydride) batteries are optimized to opperate properly with the COOLPIX L320.
