Battery is always empty.
I have owned the D7000 since Christmas and after the first charge I have only had one time where the battery showed a full charge. It can sit in the charger till it shows fully charged or sit over night and it still shows empty.

Should the EN-EL15 battery used in a D7000 be completely drained when storing for a couple of months or longer?
And, if yes, how should one drain the charge?

Is it possible to overcharge EN-EL15 Battery?
Are there any overcharging issues such as damaging the battery from overcharging if the battery is plugged in and charged overnight? How long can the battery be safely left in the charger (with the charger plugged) after the charge light on the charger becomes solid (indicating that charging is complete)?

will the battery's life be affected if charged when it is not completely drained or slightly used?
when travelling, i usually charge the battery whenever possible. and most of the time, it still has 75% of capacity left. will this shorten the battery life cycle? is it required to only charge the battery when it is completely drained to get a full battery life cycle? thanks.
