This camera is a good for beginner. I know this camera is a little old but it takes great pictures during day & night. August 8, 2010
Amazing macro mode ... BAD video . I got this camera Christmas 08 . I asked my parents for it since it looks so sleek&has a touchscreen . I still really like it but here's a few pros&cons : PRO : beautiful looking . Gorgeous outside pictures . Macro mode [ focus ] which helps takes really nice nature pictures . rechargeable [no batteries] . you can draw on the pictures&add stamps . It has a few different effects [ B&W , sepia ect. ] . Pretty good for taking portraits of people . Zoom . Self timer . different flash modes . you can customize the home page . Comes in many different colors [ i have the red one ] . Comes with a wrist strap . Has SO many picture settings [ fireworks , nighttime , sunset , landscape ect.] CON : VERY VERYYYY grainy videos inside . not very good pictures inside . Freezes a lot . you have to get used to the touchscreen . Overall i really like this camera . But it's because of the V E R Y grainy videos inside that i gave it not a very good score . okay I've had this camera for about 2 years now. I was so excited when I first got it thinking that it was going to be a step up from my previous camera. I have to say, though, I am very impressed with the photo quality when taking pictures outside in natural lighting; great color and pretty sharp. However, when taking pictures indoors or at night, the photo quality is terrible. If you take pictures indoors without the flash, the pictures turn somewhat orange. I have tried all the settings to try to fix this but it just keeps happening. Also, the ISO isnt so great either, pictures turn very grainy when it's dark. And one more thing, the video quality is very bad as well. The sound quality for videos is very cloudy and off and the video can get fuzzy and may also turn orange if you use it indoors. My first camera was a nikon but it broke after about 3 years. Then I switched to another brand camera but that one broke a year later. I've put up with this camera for 2 years and I am definitely going to switch to another camera brand. December 30, 2010
worked great at first I got my s60 christmas of 08. It was amazing love the quality of pictures day and night. I always took good care of my camera i even named it camy this is how happy i was with it i kept it in a special camera bag never till this day have i dropped or damaged it. But as time went by the quality got worst and worst and worst i hate it. This is so disapointing because i know i never dropped it or anything so i dont know why it has horrible quality now. Absolutely Awful! Worst experience of my life!! I've had to get this camera replaced 4 TIMES! That is absolutely RIDICULOUS! Don't get me wrong... the picture quality is amazing but I kid you not, you drop it ONCE and it's DONE. accidents happen and let me tell you its impossible to keep this camera working. I dropped it in a case and it still broke. I'm upset I spent Sooo much money on a camera I expected to be amazing.. and obviously it WAS NOT. SAVE YOUR MONEY and YOUR SANITY. Go buy a sony or anything else. Just to show you what happens.. here is one of my photos.. tell me how this happens... notice the lines and lack of color... my flash was on. November 18, 2011

I am having problems getting good photos. I have the flash off but it still flashes a little and shows up in my photo. I can not replicate the same picture that I see on the screen when I snap the photo.

Would the EH-63 AC Adapter charge my camera battery for the coolplix S60? Or would it just power the camera for only as long as I have it plugged in? I have lost both the MH-63 Battery Charger, and the power cable for it. Does the power cable come with the battery charger? Either way, which one would be better to charge my camera?

Answer:
The EH-63 AC Adapter will supply you camera with power constantly (won't charged your battery, since it uses a dummy battery that goes inside the camera). In order to charge your battery you will need the MH-63 charger.
