Great all around camera This is a great all around shooter between a full body camera or cell phone. With 5x Optical zoom, 7.2 Mega pixel and Vibration Reduction. Full menus like the pros. I bought it new in 02-2007 on sale as "last year's model". I still use it today 6 years later. February 13, 2013
Love my Nikon L5 I find this camera the most versatile camera I ever owned. it does everything I want in a came :close up, long distance, low light and fast shooting in sports mode. I recently had mine stolen and am in sear ch of another right away. I need it for my woodworking documentation. I like the fact that it uses rechargeable AA batteries so you could buy batteries anywhere if all yours are used up. It is small and all the features are easy to understand and use. The battery life is very good also! April 8, 2012
A quality product Even when a fault occurs it is soon back in full working order. December 31, 2010
Rugged little point and shoot. This little camera has been traveling with me for a few years, across the country and back. Takes great photos. I even dropped it in the water during a kayaking trip, let it dry out before I tried anything... and it's still working fine a year later. For snapshots and small movies it's great. October 8, 2010
I love my Nikon! I love my Nikon! My pictures always look professional no matter what I shoot. Whether I am trying to capture a beautiful sunset over the Pacific Ocean, my dog playing in the snow, or lightning in the middle of the night, I am always confident that my Nikon will take the best pictures possible. The shooting modes make it easy to take pictures in any setting; the optical zoom gets me the sharpest closeups; and the one-touch portraits make my Nikon's ease of use the best of the best. I really love my Nikon! September 29, 2010

I purchased and install a 4 GB memory card that the camera could not read. I have to check to see if that was a SD or SDHC card.
