COOLPIX L810 4.1 5 125 125
Great camera for a little price I am a "wanna be" photographer. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a camera but wanted one that had a lot of features and was easy to use. This camera was all that and more. The pictures I took, for the most part, came out great, clear, and in vibrant color. And the panoramic feature is so easy to use. My niece has a $1000.00 camera and said she loved the pictures my camera took. I love them, too. And I love this camera. October 16, 2013
Great camera I bought this camera with some gift cards and I love it! I recently had a baby and this is the perfect camera to capture special moments. I've had many compliments on every photo I've taken. July 25, 2013
Great camera for trips I purchased this camera about a year ago and have taken it on all of our trips. Doing that I am leaving my Nikon D80 and D3 at home. The pictures from the L810 are as good as - if no better - than those other two cameras. I can take pictures much quicker with the Coolpix, and there are times when that is very important. June 2, 2013
Nikon Coolpix-L810 I received my camera this past Christmas. I have always been an avid photo hobbyist. I have uploaded my pictures to my facebook page called What I See in Nature. Here you can see how great this camera does! April 21, 2013
Too good to be true! I recieved this camera from my parents for Christmas. I love it so much!! I really want to become a photographer & this is the perfect camera. I have taken some beautiful photos. I'm really impressed, although I wouldn't expect anything less than amazing from Nikon. March 16, 2013

I had my camera set to sports mode to take pictures of my daughters dance rehearsal.
No flash used since it's in theater with only stage lights. It didn't work out too well, blurry pictures while in sports mode. Since there is movement in dance, I assumed sports mode would be the way to go. Help! Her recital is Saturday & I would love to be able to fix the issue & take better pictures at recital. What mode would be better?

Answer:
This model of Coolpix has pre-set settings. You can use one of the scene modes settings to see which one will work for the type of photography you’re looking for. You can try raising the ISO or boosting the exposure compensation about 1/3 stops.

To format a memory card, insert the card into the camera, press the MENU button, and select the Format card option in the Setup Menu. Be sure to use only SD (Secure Digital) memory cards, and do not format the memory card using a computer. This information is readily available in the COOLPIX L810 Instruction Manual.

Hello I'm a dermatologist and am looking for a quick, easy way to take photos of skin conditions. Would this camera take fairly good close-ups of skin? Thanks!
