Love My New Camera!
I thoroughly researched all of the information on this camera. I was skeptical at first. I got my camera for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I love everything about it. I do not have clarity issues and I dont have any problems with the auto focus. The color selector is the most awesome extra to have. I am able to upload pictures easily. In no way have I experienced anything negative about my new Nikon S6200 Coolpix. I totally love it!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful Pics; Easy to Use
I got this camera from my kids for Christmas. Though I've only had it one day, it's amazingly simple to use and easy to explore and try the various options. Love that it has color select. Wonderful upgrade from my Canon Powershot (3.2 mp) that I've had for almost 8 years - it had a great run, still takes nice pics but when my daughter got a Nikon Coolpix as a baby-shower present, I was amazed at the huge difference in color and clarity, so I added "new camera" to my wish list. I'm so happy to have gotten this for Christmas - just in time too, since we're going to DisneyWorld in a week - I'll really be able to test it out there.

This camera is very well rounded
I got this on Christmas day, having asked for it 2 weeks before. The autofocus is very effective and the image quality is nice. The zoom is ACTUALLY usefull when taking pictures, and the screen is of a high enough quality that you can tell whether you got a clear picture or not. The navigation is intuitive, and the feel is very nice. Great camera for all uses. Best images taken in natural light without the flash on. DEFINITELY would reccomend this camera to anybody.

You can charge the battery inside the camera using the EH-69P AC Adapter or your computer. Also, you can use the MH-65 charger, but you will have to buy that separately.Has staff answer

I have the camera set to Auto, but the flash is defaulted to stay off. How do I change the flash setting? I am pushing the "up" direction on the navigation circle, but nothing happens while in Auto mode. Is there a problem with my camera? Thank you for your help!

Please see page # 56 of the user's manual for the COOLPIX S6200 regarding Flash Modes.
I have had my camera about a month and it has worked wonderfully. I got my camera out of my bag the other day and it had a black and white screen. Very distorted, black and white lines. The menu will not appear, nothing. It WILL still flash and take a picture, but then nothing. I have turned it off and back on and removed the battery. The camera was not dropped, has no scrathes or crackes and was not exposed to the elements. Suggestions??

With every release of new product we work to enhance the start up time so the cameras will be faster - not only to start up - but in shot to shot times as well. The camera doesn’t have the type of digital video output to be use as a “WebCam."2 months, 1 week ago

Answer:
All Nikon Coolpix cameras have an auto switching (from 100v to 240V 50hz/60hz) battery charger that will work in most countries around the world. AC adapters have similar characteristics. Always check the specification plate on your other battery chargers or AC adapters as third party products may not support dual voltage systems. We do not suggest the use of third party battery chargers and AC adapters with Nikon equipment.Note that the power cord included with some Nikon chargers or AC adapter is designed for 110 volt use only. A power cord suitable for the local power system should be obtained on arrival, most airport shops and computer suppliers will carry these items which are typically used for laptop computer power supply connections. Be sure that the new cord you buy fits the Nikon adapter you wish to use it with and that it is rated for the voltage in your new location. While not recommended, a simple plug adapter may be used, but caution should be taken as the cord Nikon supplies is not rated for the higher voltage and may heat or fail.
Some newer Coolpix have included an AC Adapter, like the EH-68P AC adapter, for plugging directly into a wall outlet without the use of a power cord. As with previous chargers, the correct adapter must be acquired for the country traveled to, and fitted to the Nikon AC adapter to allow proper AC connection to the wall outlet.
