Answer:

Any tipod will fit as the camera as a tripod socket on the bottom of it, cant help you with cheap tripods but ebay may be a good place to get something cheaply.

Hi,

I have a Nikon CoolPix S3100 camera. It comes with an AC adapter EH-69P to charge its battery.

But it is not charging anymore. Can you please help me how and where can I get my problem solved?

I am traveling in Mauritius. I am new in this country. I request for a fast response.

Answer:

You need to connect the camera to a computer to see if it charges the battery, it could be that is the selected settings instead of using the wall charger.

Hi,

I recently bought an s3100 and love it. It was taking great little movies, but now it won't record sound with the movie. It had been working fine. I've been through the user manual, and read through Q&A, and can't find help. How do I get the camera to record sound again? What did I do wrong, or did the mic die on me? This camera has NOT been roughly treated or dropped.

Brought camera in Dec 2011. Worked until March 2012 when I try to charge the battery it would not charge. What would cause this? Defectfive battery? Had camera only 3 months. Purchased other Nikon Coolpix cameras but never had this problem.

Try it with a backup battery and then verify that you have the correct option selected for the Charge by computer, MENU > SETUP MENU > Charge by Computer. If the problem persists you will need to send the camera and the charger to be evaluated.
