There is an option for "soft" but the changes are not skin softening. My other 2 Nikon Coolpix cameras say "skin softening."

There is a tab(a star) in playback mode that shows images with a certain rating(0-5 stars). I cannot find any information on how to rate an image though. Is it related somehow to the favorites album?

Need directions on downloading pictures from camera to computer & playstation. If possible you could E-mail manual or instructions how to download to computer & playstation 3. Thank you ....

When I got camera it had no memory card. I took a few pictures and now I want to save them after I installed memory card. Can I do this? How?

I use this camera for work and must upload my pictures to websites that only allow 650 MB jpegs. Currently I have to resize each picture on my computer before I can use it. I would like to eliminate this step by taking photos at a lower size setting.

How do I fix this?

I've been trying to make it charge but it wont, neither will it turn on.

When touring and the camera is constantly on and off, by battery is usually exhausted byfore the end of the day. Other 's camera batteries lasted far longer.

I purchased the camera in April. I took it to NYC last week, took many pics and the battery went dead. I did not have my charger with me, so I charged it last night. The green light was flashing when I hooked the camera up to the AC adapter. After a couple of hours, I tried to turn on the camera and nothing happened.

Can the camera be charged both with an external charger & through a usb as the battery remains inside the camera?

I just got a Nikon Coolpix S4100 I got it online not through Nikon and it is new not used. The touch screen isn't working except for a little bit when I first turned it on and a minute the next morning. I have tried taking the battery out and putting it back in. plugging it into the computer and turning it off and on.

I've only had the S4100 for a couple days and I tried charging it for the first time to the computer. Its already set to default. However, when I connected the usb to the computer, it didn't charge. WHAT SHOULD I DO!!??

After downloading succesfully to my Vista OS laptop using Windows Photo software, the images cannot be deleted. I have the 'erase images' ticked but unfortnately after a few seconds and the 1st, 2nd? images are deleted the software seems to stall and never gets to deleted the images 3 onwards. This means I have to cancel the delete, disconnect the camera and delete them on the camera. Is this a driver problem? Can you send me the correct driver?

Whenever I hold down the button to take a photo, the camera doesn't seem to respond or take the photo. It seems to sit there. It doesn't freeze. No flash comes on. I don't know if I have an incorrect setting on/off but it is very frustrating. The camera also seems to be acting slow when I want to go back and see what photos I've already taken.
