Is there any way to force the S9100 to have a 1 sec. shutter speed in normally lit room?
I want to try this out cause i have heard that some cameras can adjust shutter speed, but i already have the s9100 and don't want to get another camera...

The only way to reset the camera to see if the error will clear is to remove the battery and memory stick for >24 hours, recharge completely and then turn on. If it will not clear and respond correctly there may be a problem to be repaied. Be sure to have your receipt from the purchase of your camera to verify 1 year Warranty is in force.

I believe you need to purchase a camera adapter from Apple , for your iPad, and then the USB from cam to iPad should connect...

I’m not totally familiar with this camera, but in the Specs it has 4 different rates of frame speeds...
I would suggest looking in your manual and setting it for Hi frame rate...should do what you need...

Tim Moynihan posted his review of the Nikon COOLPIX S9100 on the PC World and Macworld websites, touting many of the features of the camera that have made it a top pick. He was impressed with the long 18x zoom range, image quality, ergonomic design and creative features. He said, "Its one of the easiest cameras to use right out of the box." Moynihan noted that the S9100 is among the best compact long zoom cameras that PC World/Macworld has ever tested. He added, "[The] COOLPIX S9100 turned in some of the best scores we've seen across the board for a point and shoot camera in PCWorld Labs subjective testing for image quality." Moynihan concluded by stating: "This camera offers great performance and value for the price."
