This is a great little camera. I got this to start my photography. I absolutly think it is worth the money! Seriously it has 14 mp's!!! If you want a camera this is the one you should get. May 25, 2012
Awesome camera! This is the 4th Nikon Cool Pix I've had.... each one has exceeded all of my expectations & I wouldn't purchase anything else. I love the size, the cost, the quality of both the camera and the photos it produces. Editing is simple. The use of AA batteries makes it easy to never run out, I just throw some extras in my pocket or purse and take as many pix as I want. I am the official photographer at family events and even requested a Cool Pix when I needed a digital for work. Thanks for an amazing product at an affordable price. P.S. My 42 yr old Down's Syndrome brother has a birthday coming up and his most requested gift is one of your cameras. He used mine recently and took some wonderful photos and made lifetime memories. THANK YOU! March 9, 2012
cool coolpix I won this camera in a competition and it's a great one for beginner. I love this camera and it makes brilliant photos February 27, 2012
Awesome! I bought this camera on black Friday last year, in red. I've have it for a year now and i love it. some pictures are blurry but its worth it when you get some amazing photos. I uploaded a picture i took with this camera at sea world this summer. December 6, 2011
Love this little camera I love this camera! It is easy to set up and easy to use, I love the fact that it runs on AA batteries, I always carry replacement batteries in my purse. You can't go wrong for the price. November 22, 2011

Looking for camera that date stamps, not one that you have to go back & date stamp. Must be able to take close up pics, too.

I am keen to buy one of these cameras and I've read good reviews about image quality, but I just wanted to double check that the pictures are able to come out in at least 300dpi as well as a high pixel count for height and width? I need a camera capable of producing pictures that can be enlarged without losing quality. Thanks

More pixels=more dots per square inch. The greater the pixels the better the picture quality in an enlargement.

This camera is AWFUL!!! The flash doesn't turn on automatically (in dim lighting) and when I chose the lightening bolt icon - it only occasionally works! Also, since I have to put batteries in it which I wasn't aware of until after I bought the stupid thing; they expire all the time during photo taking! I can't believe that Nikon mentions this as a great camera! Mine certainly isn't! Even when I chose the "flash" icon - it doesn't take "flash" photos! All my dim lighting pictures turn out red and blurry. This camera sucks... See how AWFUL these pictures turn out! The Red "Flash" icon never even shows up on the camera. I've tried EVERYTHING

My wife's favorite color is turquoise (teal/aqua green). I know Nikon had some camera's with that color, but I can't find any. Is it possible to get a camera in that color?

If possible, I'd like to get this for Valentine's Day. It would make my wife's year. We like Nikon, and I hope I can get her a new teal camera at a good price.

When I am indoors, "easy auto mode" never flashes and the pix are dark....however in the same setting , "auto mode" (not easy auto) flashes....it's clear from the picture that a flash is required....so my question is what is the point of easy auto mode? Why would it not flash in a setting that clearly requires a flash?

Answer:
In easy auto mode, the camera automatically determines an appropriate shooting mode when you frame a picture, allowing you to easily take pictures using a shooting mode that suits the scene.
