Great camera I took pictures of my rear brake shoes to remember how to replace the springs and parts correctly. The clarity of the picture was amazing. July 24, 2010
Awesome camera for low price! I have had a lot of fun using this camera! It takes really good pics and is a good camera for the price. If you are a beginner and want a good camera to learn photography with but want the feel of an expensive camera, this is the one for you. There are a lot of settings to play with and use but there is also a 'dummy' setting if you don't want to learn how to use a bunch of settings. July 24, 2010
Fantastic I am not wasting my time writing every feature of this camera. Google it. When you do, you will read all the great reviews. All I will tell you is that this camera is better than those reviews. 'Nuff Said! July 24, 2010
I LOVE IT!!! Before i bought this camera i had the nikon s51, which i loved! This camera has blown me away once again. Takes alittle bit to find the right setting to get the picture not blurry, but it really can take amazing picture. It is very user friendly, which most nikon's are. WILL NEVER BUY ANY OTHER BRAND THAN NIKON YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG WITH A NIKON!!!!!!! July 24, 2010
great product I love this cam It was simple to use and takes amazing pics . I have two kids and since i bought this cam i have doubled the pics i used to take and i know that this camera is more reliable then any other cam i have had and the video quality is great i'm always sending video's and pics to my mom . I do not regret buying this camera one bit July 24, 2010
This Nikon has become my favorite camera. My COOLPIX L110 camera produces the quality prints of an SLR with ease of a compact digital. I still have a lot to learn about my new camera, but have produced some beautiful prints already. The viewfinder gives me information which allows me to avoid mistakes. I like the menu which allows me to set the camera for close-up, distance, portraits, etc. In fact, I cannot find any fault with this camera. July 24, 2010
Best darn value for the MONEY I was wanting to get another point and shoot. But wanted more Bells and Whistles. At least the kind I could understand. This was such a great choice. I have loved the results and the operation of this camera since day one. The price is fantastic for what you get and the pictures will make you wonder why you would ever buy anything else but NIKON Operation is so easy. And the instructions that you get with the camera puts you in the business of loving what your doing from shot one.I came back from a Vacation in ST PETE FL. with some of the most beautiful sun sets. I know location location is important but I have This L110 to thank for the memories. July 24, 2010
I'd buy this again! I have found this camera to be very easy to operate. Pics are great. Download is easy. Only complaint is that it doesn't have a viewfinder. I have to wear my glasses to see the LCD screen. Might have to get an LCD cover so I can see the screen better. July 23, 2010
Fantastic camera I have used Sony cybershots for years and also own a Nikon N75 35mm film camera, I like my N75 so much it just seemed fitting to switch to a Nikon coolpix digital when the time came and I'm so glad I did, it has all the same controls and aperture settings as my N75. I can't say enough about this camera. I've taken photos professionally and now as just a hobby and this camera is just a joy to use in any and all situations. July 23, 2010
Featues Have owed many cameras over the years. My first a 35mm that I bought in Japan during the Korean war. As I got older I could not see well enough to focus the split image. I later bought two other digital cameras. The Nikon is the best yet. July 23, 2010
Great camera for the value I bought this camera mostly for the sport shooting mode. It is really easy to take great photos even in poor lighting conditions. I’m very satisfied with this camera. July 23, 2010
Excellent Camera Had no problems with the camera from the beginning. Works fine, batteries last quite a while, and it works well. Only problem is navigating the menus, but this is not a big problem. Excellent Camera and I love this camera. July 23, 2010
A great camera and value I like all the features on this camera. 15x zoom ability and the ability to take a really quality photo at dusk or shortly after. The camera is very easy to use and hold. July 23, 2010
Love my Coolpix. Presently on a seven week trip across Canada. All the pictures we've taken so far are great. July 23, 2010
This is an awesome camera for the price!! If you haven't test driven this camera, please go to your nearest Nikon dealer and check it out! You will not be disappointed! July 23, 2010
I love this camera! Excellent camera all around, as I expected from Nikon. Feels good in my hand. Takes wonderful, clear pictures. July 23, 2010
Great camera Love the L110. Have had many camera bothfilm and digital and this is the best so far. Great zoom and fast speed. July 23, 2010
The COOLPIX L110 is the best for it's price I investigated several cameras withing my price range and found the COOLPIX had the best combination of features of all other cameras in the group. After several months of use I still feel the same way, I would buy it again. July 23, 2010
i like this camera I like this l110 camera. I would recomend it . I like size of screen and this size of camera body. Since i am over a senior citizen the camera fits my arthritic hands better than others. At this time my computer is short of memory and I can not use the Nikon disc to work on my pictures. Thanks for a good product. July 23, 2010
Best product to date. I love how simple it is to use and all of the great things it can do! July 23, 2010
The lens is very sharp and mechanics are easy to use. I do find in handling that I turn on the camera when I don't want to. But handling it to take a photo is supurb. July 23, 2010
quick shutter speed love my new camera, the quick shutter speed really sold me and it is easy to use July 23, 2010
The Nikon L110 has GREAT features I have never owned a Digital Camera before and "wow" was I surprised at how easy The Nikon L110 is to opperate, I had taken it to a familey gathering, once got started I felt so comfortable I did'nt want to stop I could have taken one hundred pictures and the ones I did'nt want, I could simply delete and it dose'nt stop there. When I got home I thought here goes uploading on to the computer I'll mess up somthing, perhapes lose all those wonderful pictures, but No!, plug in and click, and in a matter of seconds that was it, What a Camera July 23, 2010
great camera great camera lil slow on the shutter but all is good comfortable hold focus lil slow all options easy to understand movie HD is great also smooth zoom great sound / mic July 23, 2010
Great Light Weight Camera This is the first Nikon I have owned. It was recommended by the sales team at the camera store where I purchased it. I was comparing it to several other cameras and they recommended the L110. I have owned other digital cameras in the past and never have I found one so easy to use right out of the box. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for an excellent camera with a reasonable price. My son has a Nikon digital slr and my L110 pictures are definitely comparable to the ones he takes. I originally purchased this camera because it was light weight. I would not now trade this camera for any other on the market as I have found that it is extremely easy to use and also is easy to carry wherever I go. Thanks Nikon for living up to your reputation and providing a camera that takes professional pictures without having the expense and weight of your professional cameras. July 23, 2010
great camera Love the camera, takes great pictures. I am enjoying discovering the different features of the camera. The only downside that I have found is that it is very hard to see your subject when your in bright light. Need to buy a hood to go over the LCD screen. July 23, 2010
The Nikon L110 a focal point during my travels. The L110 was a great camera for my trip. I was able to utilize a number of the preset features to make picture taking a lot easier. In very bright sunlight I was able to step down the exposure to bright out the color. In museums I was able to take low light pictures and had the ability to take pictures without the annoying clicking noise. Sunsets and sunrises were simple to take with the preset. Then zoom capability combined with the motion detection and image stabilization allowed me to take pictures on the "go". The red color is also a plus. The only drawback to this camera is the lack of a viewfinder. I would have found it beneficial in very bright light conditions, the LCD display was somewhat difficult for me to see the picture I was taking. I found the resolution to that problem was, take more pictures! July 23, 2010
The L-110 is a fantastic camera My Nikon L-110 makes me feel like a professional photographer... July 23, 2010
Easy to use and takes great pictures. Take the time to read the instructions and you will be rewarded with some great pictures. It has exceeded my expectations. Only negative,it is a bit heavy. July 23, 2010

I just purchased this camera and out of the box most of my photos are blurry and the auto focus fails to take clear pictures. When photographing my children, if they move ever so slightly I get an awful photo. Are there any settings that I can change to fix these problems? My wife and I are becoming very frustrated since we spent quite a bit of money on this camera...please help!

Also, the sports continous mode, I've found, though not high quality photos, will usually take pretty good ones. If you click quickly, it will only take one picture so you won't end up cogging up your camera with duplicates.

The COOLPIX L110 is designed to be easy and automatic to use, so there is no actual Manual Mode, however for more selectable control options, start in Auto Mode, then press Menu. This will show all the adjustable categories.

Mine has been very slow at taking pictures i dont know if i have it on the wrong settings but everytime i take a picture with my friends they move because they thought i took the picture but it didn't. Also when i do finally take a picture it takes a little bit to show up, its as if its delayed. I don't know if it's just me or is my camera messed up?

Answer:
I have the same exact issue with my camera. As much as I absolutely love Nikon and this camera, at times I have to shut it off and restart it in order to get pics. At other times the button won't even work and I can't take a pic at all (unless I shut it off again). I also see the big delay as well at times, mostly when the lighting isn't that great or flash is on. Again, I love the camera, but big problems with it in that respect....and many of my family members have the same camera because I referred them to it and each one of them has the same problem at times! I'm a bit dissapointed since I use mine to take pictures for other people.

Answer:
if you get the blue screen on your pc, it's very possible your USB port is malfunctioning. try using another USB slot, if it still happens, there's a good chance you'll have to have your motherboard replaced (in your pc, that is).

I just got my camera in December, and I recently have just started getting problems with it. Whenever I turn it on, a white screen will pop up saying "Battery Exhausted!" I've tried putting many new batteries, I've made sure that the batteries were in the right way, but nothing will work. I'm frustrated and I just want it fixed so I don't have to get a new one :(

Answer:
If it is not an internal error that you have to get fixed, make sure that you have the right battery type in (Alkaline, COOLPIX (Ni-MH), Lithium) and choose which one you have in: Menu-Settings-Battery type. this may not actually be your batteries exhausted just a misread because you have the wrong type selected. I had the same problem with mine until I changed the type to the correct one. Hope this helps!

Answer:
As far as your zooming problem goes, I don't know what that could be from. Your best bet is to contact Nikon Support. Your flash problem may be simple, sometimes the flash on the L110 can kind of be painfully slow to load up. This is because it has to charge, if this is the problem it is as simple as waiting a bit before you can take pics with the flash. If not, contact Nikon Support. Hope this helps!
