COOLPIX P90 4.2 5 99 100
Over 3 years and I still love it I *love* this camera. I've had it for over 3 years and got it when I decided I wanted nicer pictures, and more control over those pictures - but at the same time didn't really want to go through the hassle of learning and the cost of getting a DSLR. Before getting this camera I found that every year I felt like I wanted a newer or better camera, and I've yet to feel the urge to replace this one. People are constantly asking me what kind of camera I use, and I am always more than happy to tell them and then to point them to the newer available models. Oh and battery life - mine is awesome. I use it for long periods of time all the time and I so rarely have to charge the battery that I often forget to when it actually does die. The one con I can think of - it is really hard to get good pictures using the flash. They almost always turn out just eh. December 11, 2011
Awesome camera I love my P90. got the P80 for my son's church.... March 25, 2011
Outstanding As a photo guide in Alaska I have used this camera under some of the most grueling condition mother nature can handle such as sub zero temps well below the rated zone. This camera responded flawlessly sure it slowed down and the battery life shortened the P90 gave me the results I wanted, sharp and true to life images. The P90 is with me at all times and has provided some stunning photos even after after a few good hits. After 9000 photos it still reacts like new. One surprise was the black and white mode, it has a tendacy to shoot towards the flat side but with some tweeking its workable. One use of this camera is taking test shots for my 4x5 the images are enough to use them as guide photos. The P90 is built to nikons high standards and will continue using it, its a nice addition to my collection of nikon gear. February 3, 2011
Love at first pic This camera is outstanding. I took pictures without reading the manual for a while. I thought they were great until I read the manual and found out what the camera can really do. Any skilled photographer can take exceptional pictures with this camera. I'm very happy I bought it. December 3, 2010
National Winning Camera!! This camera is just down right amazing!! It takes amazing time lapse action pictures with taking at least 20 a second! My pictures that I have taken with this camera have won multiple contests around the state and nation! This camera takes better pictures than cameras worth thousands of dollars that professional photographers have, I am a teenager and this camera is perfect! November 27, 2010

I am getting so many blurry pictures. I have changed settings and reset all. Nothing seems to help. Why am I gettting blurry pictures? I'm thinking I might go back to Sony. My last sony camera had so much better picture quality. I have messed around with this camera so much. Can not find any setting that will work all the time. What can I do? What settings are best?

Answer:
You can use the default setting of 4000x3000(12m) and if you want to mimic 35mm shoot in 3-2 and you should still have enough pixels for 20x24.

The P90 is already discontinued. You will need to get in contact with a dealer that might have this camera available.
