COOLPIX L20 3.4 5 99 99
Best Little Camera Ever I have had my camera since 2009. I love everything about it. I just recently gave it to my Sis and purchased another Nixon with more zoom. You can't go wrong with the coolpix L20. July 5, 2011
This product is very good, easy to use I have much time to have this product and so far has not failed me. The instruction manual is in my language, easy to read and is a product that would not trade for anything December 10, 2010
Great Camera! I love everything about this camera. Works great. Very clear pictures. Not happy I got sand in it. wont open anymore. would like to either get it fixed or buy same one. October 14, 2010
Excellent Camera I expected good quality since Nikon is the leader in Optics, but this unit is compact easy to use, takes excellent video and prints, I love it, and have recommended it to friends, I would buy a Nikon again based on this camera's excellent output August 2, 2010
Happy with every feature of this camera We purchased this camera to take pictures of our two Schnauzers. We now have hundreds of wonder photos. July 29, 2010
Price is Right For the price this is a great camera. It does what the more expensive cameras do at a very affordable price. I highly recommend it. July 28, 2010
Love how simple it is My husband has always taken the pictures in our family, but with the digital age my friends and family were taking and emailing pictures instantly. His cameras were to complited for me. So I ask him to help me find a simple one that was goof proof....My sister in law lives in Montana and we both do crafts she was always sending me pictures of hers in progress.....now I can do the same. Just point and click...I also love taking pictures of my flowers and can get up close and personal and the camera does all the work.....if I don't like a picture I just delete it and move on. I have done some movies, for some one who likes taking good pictures instantly this is the camera. Would make an excellant first camera for a young person. I am 68 and have arthrites in both hands but find this camera easy to handle. July 25, 2010
Great Camera I love my Nikon! I am an artist, working for a concrete statuary co., & use my camera almost every day to keep a portfolio of my work. Takes great pictures & very easy to use! Wouldn't trade for any other! July 25, 2010
Great for historians/genealogists I purchased this on recommendation of another genealogist. This has a "museum" mode, which places it in close-up mode and turns off the flash at the same time. This model is great if you photograph documents. It makes sharp pictures of the documents. I chose this model, so that I can readily replace the batteries when photographing lots of documents. I have also used as a general purpose camera. The menu-driven options make it easy to use-you don't need to learn many icons. July 24, 2010
Great camera!! The Nikon L20 camera is very easy to use and takes terrific photos!! I'm not a camera pro, but many of the shots I've taken have looked like they were professionally done and suitable for framing. Way to go Nikon for making such a terrific camera! July 24, 2010
Excellent first time digital camera! I received my L20 for Christmas and I absolutely LOVE it! I have never owned a digital camera but had wanted one that would be easy to take pictures and video to share with friends and family. This camera has been a dream. I was using it immediately and taking beautiful pictures and video with ease! July 24, 2010
well used my wife has a more expensive camera and every time we go out she tells me to bring my L20 Nikon she tells me it is more easy to use and takes just as good a picture as hers. every thing on this camera is easy and if you want to step it up a notch you can adjust it to take special pictures. July 24, 2010
NOT A PHOTOG, BUT I LOVE THIS CAMERA!!! I can't believe the negative reviews! This is a great camera! I am 81 years old, and this is the first camera that I have been able to take great pix with! I highly recommend this camera. July 23, 2010
I love this camera!! I love my baby! For the price I paid and the amount I use this camera it is amazing! It doesn't kill batteries too quick if you use the "photo" batteries and the images are awesome! There were times I took a picture and it looked horrible but came out amazing! I love the different picture settings and it actually records audio very well too. I will definitely buy another Nikon when the time comes. July 23, 2010
this product has great features I love this camera. I am able to catch my granddaughter is motion, and on video and share with her Autie who lives across the county. Auntie feels like she is not missing everything. Very easy to use and I get great quality pictures. July 23, 2010
Exellent Camera Since I know how to take pictures and how to treat a camera, my pictures come out well and my camera is in great shape after 6 months. The life of my batteries last because I use rechargeable batteries and I use the power cord when I'm at home. Even the video quality is great. I love this camera. July 23, 2010
Amazing! I absolutely LOVE this camera. It's not the first CoolPix I've had, but this one is my favorite. I used the fireworks show setting a couple weeks ago and the pictures showed up BEAUTIFULLY! Love my camera, and it's just a lot of fun to use and really compact. July 23, 2010
I love this camera I take photos for a living ,the photos do not have to be gallery quality ,but for the everyday photographer, you can't go wrong with this camera.Very easy to use and good battery life (unlike some other cameras)I've had that eat batteries.I used this camera everyday since Jan and it's been great..Highly recommended. July 23, 2010
Great little camera We have had ours over a year...takes great pics, even bought our daughter one for graduation, she loves it! July 23, 2010
I bought this beautifull little camera in Hawaii(Kona) last year Thanksgiving (Black Friday) got a fantastic deal at the Target store there. I live in Canada British Columbia and I use this very usefull little camera a lot, I have two other larger digital cameras with 12X optical which are usefull for other activities, but this one I can just put in my pocket and use it anywhere. I handle it carefully and have a little protectice soft case for it. I love it July 23, 2010
The video mode My brother bought me an underwater case for this little jewel. We went swimming with humpback whales off the Dominican Republic. I got some of the the most awesome videos of mothers and calves. July 23, 2010
Simplicity of use This is the second digital camera I have owned and in my opinion, it is one of the best around. It is lightweight, but gives outstanding results. There are many features, but not complicated to understand. You can be up and shooting within minutes of installing the batteries. It has an ample storage capacity but allows you to use an optional memory card, as well. With the included software and cable, download to your computer is a snap! It is a solid performer and I am totally satisfied with mine. July 23, 2010
Great small camera. I purchased this camera to carry when I didn't need my D40. It's so easy to use and takes great pictures. I was able to get a great pic of the moon and was pleasantly surprised! July 23, 2010
This product is easy to use This camera is easy to use and takes terrific pictures. I love all of the features for enhancing the photos, as well as the zoom capabilities. I have taken great closeups as well as some great landscape images (2 of my photos have been chosen to appear in a travel magazine). July 23, 2010
Love the size of the viewer window I enjoy using my Nikon as it's easy to travel with and I can quickly whip it out of my purse and take a picture. Easy to look at and retake your picture if you didn't like the 1st. I really feel like i made an excellent decision for a reasonably priced camera with excellent performance and results. Happy Nikon owner!! July 23, 2010
excellent idiot proof camera...love the large screen - takes great pics with lots of options July 23, 2010
GREAT CAMERA Really a GREAT camera for the price, I have made prints on letter size paper photo paper that are crystal clear. July 23, 2010
Very Handy and Affordable I've really enjoyed my Collpix120, so much so I bought one for my daughter. We both love it! I love that I can remove the stick and load directly to my computer and not use up my batteries. Takes great pics I still haven't figured out the movie feature but I'll get it. July 30, 2010
This is the best camera for learners I would recommend that this is really good camera for basci learners as this is having good clarity image with different modes of shooting. I could wish recommended but as you know that this is archived camera now and in market but you can purchase any of upgrade and latest version Nikon camera with no of doubt. November 8, 2011
door to put batteries and memory stick My daughter in law has this camera and she bought me one as well last year for Christmas. However...we both have had the same problem that the door to where the batteries and memory stick goes...something breaks and the door won't stay closed..so we have had to tape it in order to take pictures...otherwise the camera is great so is this some sort of defect on the particular model ? Answer:
You have set the Protect option in a few images to avoid accidental deletion. You will notice this because a little key will show in each photo.
To get this option disable you press MENU > SETUP > PROTECT (see page# 100 of the user's manual).

Answer:
You should be able to find a menu for locking the pics somewhere in the display, it is not easy to find so may take some time. If they are stored on an SD card, the little slide button on the side of the card may be "locked.

Answer:
Can you explain exact problem having with your camera? if it's not starting then it means there has some carbon particals has occupied your battery place, clean camera battery terminals very carefully and then try to use new camera batteries. if you are using old chargable batteries then might possiblities that battery has drained and out of charge. Replace batteries and check again.
Please insert memory card into your camera and then take snaps so you can get atleast more pictures.

Answer:
Please cross check wheather your memory card has write protected or may be virus infected. Just try to access that card using computer and scan using license antivirus updated software and after scan completes please right click on your media card from my computer and check the properties for size of card and utilization of card to calculate free space in it.
Try another card as well to cross verify.
Please also check the default image store location, if it's deafult to camera then you shoud have to change it to memory card.

Answer:
This is cause of your lense hardware issue, just repair it from service centre and enjoy again. It's completely gear rotation issue which may cause stuck camera lense to roll out.
