The best This camera is the best one I have ever owned. I can't think of one single thing I don't like about it. This camera does everything a camera should do. I really like that you can crop and adjust your photo before you download it to your computer. Saves a lot of time. Highly recommended. July 23, 2010
Great-Amazing-Best I got mine on Christmas 2009. Unfortuantly for me, I some how messed up the lens. So now, I'm hoping ill get another one this Christmas. AMAZING CAMERA! Best I've had! And I want to be a photographer. This camera helped a lot! November 12, 2012
Small but powerful camera I got this as a gift a couple of years ago, and it is still working like day 1. It took me a few days to figure out the different settings, and get the swing of it. Its small, so it is easy to toss in my bag without the extra weight. May 25, 2012
Amazing I got this camera two years ago right before my first child was born. I have taken well over 2,000 pictures and love every single one. It takes amazing quality pictures, and is easy to pull out spur of the moment instead of always being behind the camera. It recently broke on Halloween due to a crying baby i forgot it on the roof of the car, I just hope they still sell it because after reading the specs on all the "upgrades" I still believe this the better choice. November 10, 2011
Just Great all around little camera. Lost first one, had to have another one.It takes good pictuers. And easy to use. November 4, 2011

Answer:
This is cause of your lense hardware issue, just repair it from service centre and enjoy again. It's completely gear rotation issue which may cause stuck camera lense to roll out.

The speed can delay the time required to move the picture from the camera to the memory. The minimum speed for the memroy would be the maximum speed of the camera interface (camera to memory).

I just had this working the other day and today I went and replaced my old batteries with new ones and the coolpix screen comes up then a black screen. My sister just cleaned the battery area with rubbing alcohol to see if it was carbon particles and all. We let it dry but the camera will still turn on just no screen. Also now it will not turn off unless we open the battery door and all.

Answer:
Battery capacity tends to decrease on cold days. Be sure that the batteries are fresh before heading outside to take pictures in cold weather. Keep spare batteries in a warm place and exchange as necessary. Once, warmed, a cold battery may recover some of its charge. Dirt on the battery terminals can prevent the camera from functioning.

The Battery Exhausted message comes up even with new alkaline batteries. None of the buttons will work to bring up any other screen or menu. For a while before this happened the camera would freeze while deleting photos or viewing photos I had taken.

Answer:
Please make sure you have the right battery type selected in the L20 setup menu. An unapproved, or corrupted memory card can also cause the camera freezing issue.

Answer:
It sounds like you are shooting in the "Multi-shot 16" which takes 16 shots and combines them into a single picture. You are seeing all 16 frames at once because there is only one image. The only way to separate a Multi-shot 16 picture into individual frames would be to upload the file to a computer and use photo editing software to crop and save each frame individually.

To capture individual continuous photos, select "Continuous" from the shooting menu, then choose "Continuous" again. Continuous mode will take up to 5 pictures continuously while the shutter button is pressed.

For more detailed information on shooting continuously using the L20 see page 75 of the L20/L19 manual. A copy of the manual can be downloaded from here: https://support.nikonusa.com/app/an...

Answer:
I' ll start with the obvious, are the batteries charged? If they are the same batteries that came with the camera it is possible they are no longer holding a charge. If batteries are not the problem than call Nikon service and support. In the US it is 1-800 NIKON-US. If you are in another country log on to Nikon.com and find your countries service and support phone number.
