Nikon's Smart Portrait System:

  • With Nikon's Blink Proof the camera automatically takes two shots and saves the one in which the subject's eyes are open.
  • In-Camera Red-Eye Fix™ automatically fixes most instances of red-eye in the camera. You may never see red-eye again.
  • Face-Priority AF is Nikon's face-finding technology that automatically focuses on up to 12 faces in a group portrait.
  • D-Lighting rescues dark or backlit images by improving brightness and detail where needed.

AMAZING AND SMALL I got this as a Christmas present a couple years ago and I LOVE IT! It takes beautiful pictures, it is small, no need to go out and buy batteries, and it is touch screen, I'm just in love with it. Unfortunately it fell at the beach in the wet sand and is now water damaged and doesn't work but I would most definitely buy it again. October 14, 2012
lovely piece of joy i bought this camera on sale because the store was trying to get rid of it. so i bought and loved this little thing ever since the only annoying thing is that it does not run on AA's but i am getting used to it. The pictures are great looking and the only blurred pictures i have gotten is from an unsteady hand. i love this thing January 15, 2011
Nice Camera With A Lot Of Features I love this camera and like other reviews say just read the manual before you start because it has so many neat little features like the snap and record and push hold down snap to take pictures while recording picutres is cool nice camera. I would recommend this to friends and family members. July 26, 2010
Great camera I bought this camera after having an accident with my first digital camera. I got the whole kit and am very happy with it. I have learned that it takes good close ups, portraits and early evening shots. The night ones are good some times but too much action seems to blur. I have tried several settings so maybe it is just a learning curve. I love the small size, the touch screen and ease of deleting pictures. It also downloads well with my iMac. July 26, 2010
Excellent Photograpy If you want to be a real photographer, you must have a Nicon. You can do everything with your Nicon(Of course about photography:))Best photos in everywhere, day, night,in party,at home...I love it very much.My Nicon choice is Coolpix S230,i recommend it. July 24, 2010

This is the first time we've attached it to the computer. The memory card if full. The software is up to date. We have followed the instructions in the manual and made it as far as : 4 Confirm that the source device is displayed in the transfer options "Source" panel and click "Start Transfer"

Nothing happens after this.
Thanks
