it takes cool pics it is a cool camra i love it but at broke and my battery will not stay in when i get my memery card out September 19, 2010
Excellent Performance. This is my first camera, and I am completely in love with it. It goes everywhere I do, and I have since discovered I have quite the love (and eye) for photography. People look through my portfolio and always ask, "hey, where's your big fancy camera?" That is quite the compliment for not only me, but for Nikon. I could not be more pleased with what this can do for a pocket camera. August 20, 2010
This product has great features great features and i love it and i always bringing it every time i go out August 13, 2010
okay its a good camera but it doesnt hold much memory for me and i have an SD card in it :L March 11, 2012
Update While researching replacement I learned the image stabilization is not always enabled. Huh? Going through the menu I could not find way to enable. Then while going through the mode options I found it. Trying with it off and in "auto" showed the image stabilization worked, at least in one exaggerated instance. I wish the manufacturers would have enabled the auto image stabilization function. It looks like they addressed my comment regarding the button pushing feature in the replacement model as it is different. I bought another camera anyway for the improved zoom (12x) but I think this camera for size is pretty good. I might give it as a gift. January 19, 2011
Great pictures in the light, but once the flash comes into play at night, the quality drops dramatically. It's my 5 year old's first camera so it's perfect. September 17, 2010
Blurred image Size is OK but my hands shake a bit and the image stabilization isn't able to cope. Even when trying to be still, 10% of pictures are blurry. It also is a little to difficult to press the picture button which causes the camera to rotate slightly and adds to the blurry picture. I'll have to get something with better image stabilization. When using a tripod, the pictures are good. I was able to take some pictures at dusk with the night time setting and these turned out. November 27, 2010

I opened the battery/memory compartment to transfer some photos and the battery latch broke/popped off. Im not sure how it happened as I never attempted to remove the battery to transfer the images on the memory card.
Can this be fixed? I don't want to get another camera as a result of this.

My Nikon Coolpix s210 camera's USB cable doesn't fit into the outlet on the camera anymore. I'm not sure what happened to it but nothing registers on my camera or computer. I was wondering if it was possible to purchase another cable.

Thanks!

The screen displays "no memory available". I've tried different memory cards and the result is the same. The latch holds momentarily but usually launches the memory card into the air before I can close the Battery/Memory access door. Presently the camera is not useable.

I charged the battery all last night, put it in, and still no result. My camera has been like this for like almost 2 years now. Before it wouldn't turn on, it has lens error, after I fixed that it stopped working. I really want to use this camera again. All of it's other parts are working and are perfectly fine. It just won't turn on.

After plugging the charger into my camera and the outlet in the wall, the green light flashes to indicate it is charging. Within a few seconds though the light stops flashing and turns red. The battery does not charge and I am not sure how to fix this.

Answer:
The COOLPIX S210 doesn't have the feature to charge the battery inside the camera. In order to charge the camera you'll need to take out the battery and place it in the charger.
